• Re: Terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day?

I was hopeful to see / download the NIV Zondervan Study Bible notes today. It seems it may not happen. Oh well.

I had the same question. Seems the technical problems being had at Faithlife are slowing things down a bit today. Hoping it comes through prior to the 3-day weekend.

NAC is still included in silver. It is one that I like pretty well, even if I don't agree with it 100% of the time. I doubt anyone agrees with anyone else 100% of the time. Like you and I unix - we seldom seem to agree, but we don't disagree 100% of the time.
Yeah, I actually already have most of the NAC from my

Yes, and thanks. I should have stated that I'm running Logos 5 (free upgrade to the engine), but my last significant package was Logos 4. I'm debating whether it's in my best interest to simply upgrade to the 6 engine for free in Feb., or take the full-upgrade plunge to Gold. At this time, I'm still leaning towards the former, unless I see enough good

  • Logos 4 to 6: Why Upgrade?

Hi All, I'm currently still using Logos 4 (Silver package from way back when). For all you folks who have spent some time in Logos 5 and now 6, feel free to give me some good reasons as to why it's worth the upgrade. Will be graduating seminary soon, but I'm already in full-time ministry. Ready - Set - Go!

My upgrade pricing says I currently own Logos 3, and provides the upgrade price. But I own Logos 4. Would the upgrade price be any different with that bit of info? I'm also currently a seminary student. Would that change the upgrade price?

I don't check the forums here often, but I've had a couple seminary profs briefly mention a forthcoming Logos 6. No timeline of course, but we can all guess it's not a matter of "if" a Logos 6 will ever come out, but "when".

I've followed the steps in your signature. Let me know what you'd like me to do with the log file. Note: I'm using a MPBr, clean Mavericks install upon its release. As I noted, other apps are not opening in this manor. Strange.

  • Bug: Logos 5 Opens Partially Off-Screen (OS X) - solved

Greetings, I'm using Logos 5 on Mac, and every time I open up the program the primary window is most of the way off screen (see image below). Is there a way I can program it so that it will always open up in the manner I would prefer? Dragging it every time I open it up seems unnecessary, and I'm not having to do that with any other application I'm

Yeah, I just saw that Logos recommends 6+gb ram. I know that the current Logos 4 runs *slow* on my current Windows laptop. That said, I'm sure the power of the MPB will help a great deal, though Thanks.

Yup, I'm still using the Logos 4 engine. I'll likely make the switch when I get the new machine. Thanks!

  • Making the switch to Mac...

So, after being a PC user my entire life, I'm looking to make a switch over the Mac. I've read through the forums here and have seen that the transition (regarding Logos) should be simple. However, I've also seen a few folks indicate that the specs of the machine may matter. Therefore, if anybody has any thoughts on the following specs, feel free to

  • Deleting Resource for Offline Reading:

I recently got an ipad (nice!) and immediately downloaded the Logos app. I've signed in under my account and added some resources to it for offline reading. However, I added a resource for offline reading I didn't intend to add. I went to delete it, and under the "offline reading - on" part of the app, it wouldn't let me un-select "on". I couldn't find
