This question is simple in my mind, so hopefully I can explain what I mean. This is a link to a quote in a sermon by Spurgeon: logosres:mtpserms17;ref=Page.pp_678-679;off=3177;ctx=he_throne_of_grace._~It_is_a_throne_set_u In HTML, as we know, link information can be hidden beneath a title (such as "Logos.com" at the top of this page). Is there a way

OK, well, never mind - there is an Information link in the resource menu

I'm in full agreement. This week's sermon preparation was made more efficient with Workflows, and I'm looking forward to diving into other new features.
One of the things that does seem to cause significant slowdowns of systems is having a large number of collections. This isn't quite what you're asking about, but I: Export my manuscript to Word, Do a little formatting, Export as a PDF, Load the PDF into Notability, a great iPad app that allows me to annotate my manuscript with the Apple Pencil. I take a few minutes and make sure that I have slides indicates in my notes, and I'm ready to preach.

Second, maybe I'm just missing it, but since there are obviously a large number of these images in Logos, is there a place where they are contained in a SINGLE image?
Right at the front of the Lexham Survey of Theology resource in your library. Or go direct to the image in the Media Tool

This is a predictable crash. I have my Bible open. I have the Highlight panel open. I want to save highlights in a Note file. I click on the triangle to the right of the name of the Highlight group. At the bottom of the popup is "Notebook: No notebook" with an expansion triangle. I move the cursor to "Notebook: No notebook". Voila! Logos is gone.

I want to edit an existing Copy style, or create a new one. When I click Create New Style I get a nice looking set of panes. The bottom shows the biblical text according to the most recent style chosen. The top pane, where I assume all the codes are supposed to go, is blank, and Logos will not let me click in the pane to add anything. There isn't white

Well, those guys on the It Crowd are pretty smart; restarting my Mac solved the problem. Ours is not to reason why . . .

FYI, I'm running Logos 6.7 on a Macbook Pro which is running the OS X 10.11, El Capitan. I'm running into an issue with the way the CBV syntax gets copied over to Word. Here is my Logos syntax code: %NoCharFormatting %NoRedLetter %NoFootnotes %NoCitation %HeaderStyle=ScripRef %ForEachVerseStyle=BibleText =Header [FullBookName] [ChapterNum] ([Version
I would love to see how it behaves in relation to complex searches.
I would, too. I typed in "What questions did Jesus ask Peter" and it couldn't make sense of it. So much for "natural language" parsing. It's a cool idea, but doesn't seem ready for release.

Is there a comprehensive list of <Sense> terms? Probably my only frustration with Logos is having to know what to call something in order to find it, but not being told what terms are indexed.
-
Incidentally, I know about the Bible Sense Lexicon, but in order to see a term, you have to have a starting term. I'd love to see a Concordance-like listing of all the terms used in the Lexicon.
-
Thanks, Graham, I appreciate it. Now I'm trying to get my head wrapped around the idea that "A" could intersect "B", while "B" doesn't intersect "A" in the same verse . . .
-
Mea culpa - I left out the "=" in a search when I reversed the terms: <Sense to transfer (move)> INTERSECTS <Person God> returns a couple of hundred references, while <Sense = to transfer (move)> INTERSECTS <Person God > returns just Colossians 1:13. And . . . the equals sign confuses me all over again. <Sense = to move>

DON'T UPGRADE TO CATALINA AT THIS POINT Hello Mac users - I know that you're all curious about Logos and Catalina. I'm signed up as an Apple Developer, so I was able to download and install Catalina last night on a separate partition, and then downloaded Logos 8. At this point the Logos installer will download the library, but crashes when Logos itself

These are really helpful answers, Graham and Dave, thanks! As a reminder, pure word searches are obviously based on the text; Logos simply finds what's there. INTERSECT searches are based on how a person or persons decided a particularly word or phrase or block of text should be tagged – that is, their interpretation of the text – and we

DO NOT UPGRADE TO CATALINA AT THIS POINT For those who are interested (you know who you are), Apple released the public beta of Catalina, Mac OS 10.15, yesterday. I have installed Catalina on an external hard drive for the sake of testing. Logos never gets into the initial set up; it simply sits and spins at the "Download Resources" page without making

Mea culpa - I was using the beta; I deleted that, grabbed the latest release, and “download all” was where it was supposed to be.

Unfortunately, this will only download 100 resources at a time on my iPad Pro, and I have more than 8,000 . . . sheesh
