I also think the following quote about 80% sums me up. “ I think the new MacBook Pro 13” M1 will be fine for users who use 100% Apple software, stay primarily in Safari and don’t need to connect it to a bunch of peripherals.”
It's also fine for users (like me) who use a lot of non-Apple apps
I have a relatively powerful PC... Why is the Logos program so laggy on my computer? Scrolling through resources is almost always glitchy and laggy. I'm a slight n00b so I wouldn't be surprised if its something on my end - simple fix etc. Can someone give me some pointers? I do have a lot of tabs attached to my layout for example
[quote user=I think of the new Factbook more as a lexicon that has only published volume 1 of an anticipated 23. It lays out the framework for the entire lexicon but provides entries for a (frustratingly) few. This was my situation in graduate school ... a century old incomplete dictionary or the first few volumes of a new comprehensive
In either case, you can control the proclaim slides IF you have internet.
That's the "almost" in my title, on the nose. I've ordered a mobile hotspot from Verizon ($20 a month), and I'll see how it works on Sunday. I've wished for this kind of connectivity for many a long year, ever since I started using Keynote
If the “last Monday in October“ holds true, look for Logos 10 on October 24th, 2022
Here are some exciting features coming soon in Logos 10! Heresy Checker™ – No need to worry about accidentally affirming Arianism or the latest Joel Osteen book. That quote from C. S. Lewis? The Heresy Checker™
How does this new mode work with Proclaim? The way I have done it in the past is to send my sermon to proclaim and then control the presentation when I preach advancing slides and my sermon together with a swipe of the finger. It was nice to be able to have my notes by my slides and to be able to have the slides
Thanks John and Greg. I guess what I am wondering is this: if you customize PG, is there is a need for Cited By? Can you do in PG everything that is done in Cited By? And then the same as the new factbook. Or is it possible that the new factbook will eventually allow everything that PG does? In terms of other guides (Topical Guide
9920 for me. But I would say that more is not necessarily better. More requires more... certainly more work to harness, utilize and tag effectively. You can easily miss the trees for the forest, even though no trees are physically harmed in the acquiring of our resources 😛.
9,391 for me. I agree that quantity doesn't equal

Yes, that's great news - thanks Graham!

What do you mean by "audio tracks" - sermon audio? Or some other audio? Also, what kind of computer are you using (it would help to find the audio files)?

Bottom left - Photoshop black. Bottom right - Logos gray, which matches the background of the upper "dark" mode. When I desaturated the image (let the reader understand), the darkest part of Logos dark mode is about 70% gray, with the slighter lighter portions about 60% gray. So, while it is "dark" it is certainly not black. For my part, I would prefer
This should be added to feedback.faithlife.com.
It bugs me too, so I added feedback about it: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/poor-tagging-process Once again I am asking for your vote
I've ordered a mobile hotspot from Verizon ($20 a month), and I'll see how it works on Sunday. In fact, it worked so well that we were able to live-stream

I've already created a Feedback entry on this, at https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/please-adjust-anchor-display-in-notes Two things about this. First, anchors are general fairly brief, right? A Bible reference doesn't take much room. But in Notes, Anchors are on separate lines. They could be placed in a "paragraph" format

Gregory, when is your supposed to arrive? Mine says that it will arrive tomorrow on the 16th, I wonder if it really will or if UPS will have to hold it since I think Apple said the 17th or 18th was the release date
The tracking says tomorrow, the 16th, but it hasn't left Alaska yet.

Just an update as of 8:26 central time - Logos is still downloading (I've got close to 40 gigs of data). I confess that I interrupted it at one point, thinking I could just transfer everything in Target Mode. Well, there IS no Target Mode for the M1 Macs; it's "Mac Sharing" instead, and it's accessed in Recovery Mode. It would get about a third of the
Air base model is enough! Thank you for your kind answer. I will also inform the Logos community in Korea :D
Just to be clear, I have the $1,249 model, not the $999 model, but I assume that the $999 would function almost as well. The only difference is that the GPU on the lower model is 7-Core, and the next model
