I did this search, and was surprised to find that the first prayer as a literary type is in Second Samuel 7. There are certainly prayers in Scripture before that point; is the data set incomplete, or is my installation weird for some reason? FWIW, I am searching All Bible Text in All Passages in the NASB, and the search phrase is: {Section <LiteraryTyping

Have you tried creating a Collection with just the ESV Bible, and then picking that Collection in the Morph search?
-
Sorry for the convoluted question here. OK, I've got the basic search for: < Person Abraham> I also know that I can search for < Person Abraham> AND (believe OR trust) Is is possible to search for < Person Abraham> AND < Subject (or some other term) Faith> I don't know how to ask this, I guess, but in the above, what are Person

I'd like to see a "Mark for Removal" option, so that a user could identify resources to remove, and then remove them all at once. As it is, removing a number of resources occupies the system, and makes it clumsy to continue to mark resources for removal until the update is complete.

You've got my vote

You've got my vote! In the meantime, check out Better Touch Tool ( https://www.boastr.net ). I just got a new Macbook Pro yesterday, and found Better Touch Tool while searching for a way to use the touch bar with Logos. You can create custom buttons. I have four: Open my library, open my Bible, open the copy verse pane, and open a search window. You

I did see that before, but it's not happening on my system with the current versions: Have you updated to the High Sierra beta 4?
-
Logos needs to provide for the import of PDFs as personal books. Microsoft Word is fine as far as it goes, but there are many, many public domain resources that could be used to quickly augment a library.
-
Every issue that I came across has been resolved. The current version of Logos is very stable with High Sierra.
-
Restarting my computer made no difference. Starting Logos without an internet connection made no difference (which seems to indicate that it's not a problem with Logos' servers). Next will be rebuilding the index.
-
OK, I've rebuilt the index, and it seems that Logos is now happy with High Sierra.
-
Thanks!

I installed Sierra last night on a disc partition (not my main partition). I'm starting sermon prep today, and I'll use Logos 6 under Sierra as far as I can, and then report. 8:41 am - Logos is running, and my main home screen is up and looks correct. *** 9:48 am - no problem following my reading plan *** 11:41 am - no problems after a couple of hours
-
Well, at this point Logos (the latest stable release) is running fine on my Macbook Pro with Sierra installed. If any issues arise I'll post them here.

A brief update on Logos and High Sierra: First, High Sierra has a lot of set up to do when it's first installed (I think related to Spotlight and iCloud). Once that was complete, the system in general felt a little quicker. And, Logos spent quite a long time "preparing the library." Once that was complete, the graphics glitches seemed to resolve, and

Tl;Dr summary: Should you install High Sierra on your Mac and run Logos? NO! It's beta software! What's wrong with you? Actually, I did, and it's working fairly well, with some issues that to me are minor, but to you might be deal breakers. After several hours of running Apple's new Mac OS, High Sierra (OSX 10.13 for those keeping score) on an external

Thanks for pointing that one out. Unfortunately, it’s not downloadable.

Thanks to all for responding!

I just tried to search The Mishnah for the word "marriage" and got zero results. So I tried to search for "vow" and also got zero results. I had to reindex the book, and then search results appeared. So, at least one book in my library was not indexed, and I suspect that there must be more. Before I go through the nuisance of Rebuild Index, is there
They are for the most part, but the web app does not have all of the same features as the Desktop app. You actually access notes the same way in the desktop app too. The only difference here is that the notebooks do not show up in Documents, but I think that is by design really.
I never noticed that in the desktop
