Gregory, That's great. I installed it and it looks like I'm able to everything I wanted to in the Touch Bar for now!
Silly question, but is the iPad a) connected to WiFi, and b) the same WiFi network as Proclaim?

  • Re: Yay or not yet

I've been running only Big Sur for a couple of months or so, and it's solid; Proclaim is fine, too. My only issue is that it doesn't seem to want to dismount external drives, but that's not a Logos issue. Dark Mode in Logos is a mess, but that's not a Big Sur issue; there are just too many unique situations in Logos (highlights are designed for "light

  • Re: Advice on Method of Note managing

Looking back through notes that contain a single keyword, like 'Matter', would be a nightmare. Ultimately it doesn't (ahem) matter whether you create a formal "tag" for a note or simply include a key phrase that remains constant for that topic. With that said, I would approach it this way. • The first text in the note will become a label in the
I looked in the TOOLS menu and I do NOT have the Sermon Manager in my Logos 9 Upgrade. Is there a reason? The Sermon Manager is a planning feature. It should be

  • Re: Notes auto-linking

I'm not sure that Logos will do this automatically. Every note I create has an icon in the biblical text, and a click takes me to that note. The problem is that a verse could be linked to any number of notes. For instance, I have five separate notes linked to Matthew 6:9. Which one should Logos open first?

  • Re: What is the status of being able to import PDF and ePub into Logos?
IIRC my understanding is that there is regret in certain quarters of FL about allowing folk to import Word Docs as some user the system to import copyrighted materials (eg. Books) which are already available to purchase on the Logos platform. Understandably this practice could foreseeably get worse if importing pdf and epubs

The M1 Macs and Big Sur have a built-in translator (Rosetta 2) that will allow Intel apps to run. Whether or not LOGOS will run has yet to be seen.
Now that I have Carta, I've started playing around with atlases and have several questions: 1) Typing atlas in the library search brings up 34 resources that are either atlases and/or maps. The type of these atlases is not consistent. 15 of them are type:atlas and the rest are type:monograph
Yes, unfortunately having

For what it's worth, I have a MacBook Air on order, and should have it in my hands November 17-18. My first task will be to install Logos and Proclaim and see how they run. I will upload my experience as soon as I can (I'm even thinking of creating a short video demonstration). I'm purchasing this MacBook Air to handle Proclaim for our Sunday morning

My favorite Bible atlas is Google Earth with the Bible KMZ file installed ( https://www.openbible.info/geo/ ). I turn off most of the layers (roads, 3D buildings, etc), and it works very well. That being said, I want an atlas to just tell me WHERE a place was, and not give me all the detailed information that I can get through other resources).

  • Logos speed/performance issue

When I was preparing to preach on the triumphant entry this past Easter season, I went through the synoptics and did some fairly extensive highlighting to compare and contrast the accounts. This morning I came across that highlight, and decided to clear it, selecting all the text, and then click on the "clear" button in the popup formatting menu. It
