Is that book by Reese in the public domain? Or does p.b.m own the copyright to it?
I wasn't sure, which is why I didn't submit a .docx file of it.

A classic along these same lines is Alexander Reese's book, The Approaching Advent of Christ. He can be a little rough around the edges, but he gets his point across. He does a good job of refuting Darby's doctrine. (Personally I think Reese is correct.) You can read it here. The Approaching Advent of Christ
Do you mean Logos4 Notes files?
He names the resource in the title of the thread. The Companion Bible, by E. W. Bullinger. The full version is rather lengthy and is generally only available as a module or as a pdf. Logos doesn't offer this resource and it is in the public domain, so I don't see any reason why someone

The note in Gen 9:20 is badly worded to say the least. "I am a man of unclean lips and dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips", there is the personal and the social aspect of sin. I think the author of the note intended it to be taken in the social sense.

One idea I had was to ask Morris Proctor for permission to use his definitions from his syllabus and teaching materials.

Note especially the section on adding hyperlinks to your notes. I personally created four note files

We are not to know the when, but we are to know the what. If you know the who, then he can show you the what. Therefore encourage people to know the who and don't try to change their what, unless your really know from the who what is the what. Acts 1:7

If you want the Old Testament Words of God in red bad enough you can do it manually. Click on screen shot to enlarge. This process is only approximate and like Alabama said which words should be red is debatable. I only followed this process in Genesis. You set up a visual filter just as a marker as to what words to highlight. The search words you use
When you say, "off screen" do you mean dragging the book panel "overtop" the Bible Word Study panel? (i.e the act of making two panels one.)
Yes. I start out with a split screen, with a Bible on one side. If I drag the semicircle at the bottom off to one side leaving only my Bible and attempt to do a Bible Word Study

I can duplicate Craig's result. If I have a split screen, everything functions as it should, but if I only have one pane open to my preferred Bible( NASB) and do a Bible Word study it replaces my preferred Bible with a full screen word study. Then if I click on one of the example uses at the bottom, it opens full screen to ESV. (On a side note if I
top bibles in L4 (in order) are nasb95, king James, and new international.
I am curious what your settings on the iPad app show. Go to the home screen and tap on your name in the upper right, then tap settings. What does it show there for your preferred Bible?
-
One further suggestion on this topic. Try creating a collection with just one, two or three resources known for their good maps. I have a collection called "any book I want", to which I added the ESV Study Bible and the Holman Bible Atlas. (It seems it takes longer to sync a new collection). Then whenever I search, I limit it to just this collection

Hi Ryan, this is a difficult situation right now. For one thing Logos Deluxe Maps aren't working correctly on the iPad. There doesn't seem to be a foolproof way to gain easy access to a particular map right now. The iPad app is a work in progress. What I do is use the ESV Study Bible maps. All I have to do is type map into the search window and the

If you type in rating:4 (or whatever you rated them) , do they show up?
It would be much nicer if there were nested subgroupings
I totally agree. (Actually it is quite refreshing to see people with a love for God's word to the point that they would build a library like that!)
How do you sort the notes by date? I can't seem to find that option..
Tap Edit at the top of the note pane. Then tap Sort on the upper left.

The iPad has four sides. How about having a side by side or top and bottom presentation depending on what position you are holding it. I think, however, it would be nicer to have a preference in settings, so you could set it and forget it.
-
After you have clicked on the series heading to sort by series, you can further sort by type. For example enter "type:commentary" to show all your commentary sets by series. This is a nice feature. If you have the perseus collection you can enter "type:commentary ANDNOT publisher:perseus". (Rosie please white out your library count total so that we
Even though I'm in for $75, I'd love to see it go for $50, but I don't know how possible this is.
I don't know how possible that is either, but it looks like it could go for $65, especially if we get some more bidders and if a few of the $50 bidders raise their bids a little. As a reminder, the set previously sold
