  • How to find size of my Logos 6

I almost don't want to ask this, but searching around on my Logos account and in Windows Explorer, I'm at a loss at how to find the size of the program I have here on this computer. Is there a way when I sign into my account to find out not only what I have but the size of it?

I've got to say, this is quite interesting. It seems it would take a lot of learning but then as you say, one has to commit oneself and do a bit every day. Looking at this, obviously you've been doing your homework. Thank you for pointing this out.

I'm going from a cold boot just opening up Logos itself without any layouts. Including the opening up homepage, I'm going roughly 15 seconds, give or take one. Is this normal or no?

Thanks Gao. I'm trying to get to the whole tooth of the matter regarding the SSD's. I've heard of the flossify off these drives but now having one aboard and seeing the speed, I'm not down in the mouth over it so much. They're not instant by any means but definitely faster. Not to strike a nerve but how does some of the rest of you fare out time-wise

From a cold boot, how long does it take to bring up Logos on your SSD?

  • Re: compatability with Windows 10

Since I don't need everything new that comes out, Windows 10 found its way to three laptops in this household last August. I have had no snags with it whatsoever, although I kind of wish I could just to see what it's like. I have Logos 6 on two computers, the newest one of which is better than 2 years of age now and the Toshiba going 6. I do not use

They sure are not making HD's small anymore. I mean hey, a 130,888,900,608 Gig Drive is large compared to what they used to be. Seriously, out of the two possible things you mentioned "err" or "jest" the former would be correct. That should have been Bytes. Sorry about that. I should have written 121 Gigs are used on one drive with zero on the other

Bill, why did I figure I was going to be asked questions that I would have no idea about. As far as the sata, I do not know what that is nor do I know how to find it. Maybe this will help ... I've got an ASUS Republic of Gamers G750JW with an i7 processor(s) and 16 Gigs of RAM. http://www.staples.ca/en/Kingston-240GB-V300-SSD-Flash-Drive/product_104018_2

  • Best SSD

Can I get some advice as to which is the best SSD to buy. I'm presently looking at a 240Gig. I presently have two HD's. One currently has 130,888,000 gigs on it while the other has zero on it. Take a look at this and give me your thoughts if you would. Thanks! http://www.staples.ca/en/Kingston-240GB-V300-SSD-Flash-Drive/product_104018_2-CA_1_20001

  • Re: "Not responding" issue

We might indeed have to live with it (suffer the repetition) but my initial reason for popping the question was, I was told Logos was working or looking into it. I was and am still wondering if Logos has got any closer to fixing the snag. Now if I were relaxing any more than I am, I'd be in a coma.

  • Re: "Not responding" issue

The fact I was told it was a problem known to Logos tells the story I suppose. I'm using an up to date ASUS with a 7200 rpm HD with 16 Gigs of RAM. I should not be getting the "not responding" of course even with a much less powerful computer. Gen 1:1 appears instantly for me also. But when I do the passage guide (just one of the times I get this "not

Version of Logos = Logos Bible Software 6.11 SR-2 6.11.0.0041 ASUS 1 Gig HD / 16 Gigs of RAM Latest Version of Windows 10, although this stuff really doesn't matter a lot from my end. That's because I've seen this since I've had Logos. I see the problem for instance when I go to search - let's say I type in "in the beginning" ... that comes up no problem

Not sure I'm posting this in the right spot but am wondering where Logos is regarding the "not responding" issue that still is hanging around in Logos 6.
