After reading this morning in NIV, I clicked "mark as read". Spinning beach ball appeared and though the rest of my computer is unaffected, Logos seems locked. I take it back, it just took over a minute to be responsive. (no other programs running).-hmmm.

Related to my other post, if I already have my reading plan window open and then switch lets say to the home page. Then if I go to the file menu and select reading plan again, nothing seems to happen. Mind you I recognize that Logos probably realizes that the window is already open, but doesn't it seem like it should focus on that window, instead of

I seem to have lost the ability to "Mark as read" in my reading plan. Yesterday before the Release candidate 3, I seemed fine but not today. I was simply opening up my reading plan (via the file menu) and it was opening the calendar view. Then I simply right clicked on a date and could select "Mark as read" even if it was in the future a bit. I was

That is what I would have expected. When you look at Mail or Safari, they all have arrows indicating a submenu exists. I don't suppose that could change before released-especially after they have announced a date already. Robin

Thanks. I guess I don't even consider a right click on a mac very often. Or at least I don't think of it on a menu item. Thanks

Anyone give me a quick way to delete a Custom Bible Study Guide? I can't seem to find a way to remove them. I didn't see any posts saying that this wasn't complete. Thanks, Robin

Since it was mentioned that often people don't post their good news, but simply their problems, I'll go on the record and state that I have been using Logos 4 Mac exclusively for the last several months and have found it to be very useable for my needs. Sure a few crashes from time to time, which is to be expected. I posted my logs and am very appreciative

I think I asked this once before, but didn't really get any response. I am currently reading through the Bible and Logos does a great job of keeping me on track. Sometimes, however I do like to read a bit out of order and would love to have that "count". In other words, even though I'm currently set to read Nehemiah, I would like to also read some of

Just checking to see if this is normal. When I am in Biblical people and begin typing a name, the box with suggested names is somewhat chopped. You can still read most of the text, but the formatting is off by a bit. See image. Is this already noted?

Tom, (or whoever looks at logs), Is it possible, that Logos is the culprit for my computer locking up. This has happened about 3 times in the last 2-3 months. Each time, it has happened when I have been scrolling (sometimes in Safari, or other programs). But, the screen will go black (though the computer will be on). It will be completely unresponsive

I'm reading "Introducing the New Testament" and have a reading plan set up. I have clicked on the "Mark Read" button and this is what happens: First it jumps up to the green text of "start reading" and does a funky star highlight. I have seen this before as it usually does this to move on to a new selection. The problem is that it keeps taking me to

Happened again today. Here is the log report with the most recent line showing that it exited the program. Hope it helps. 55375.Archive.zip

Was just reading my Daily reading plan. I just scrolled a tiny bit and suddenly everything was gone. The program quit for no reason. (It didn't bring up the typical crash report from apple). It just stopped. Here is my log. 6232.Archive.zip

Opened up my Bible reading plan tonight and saw this. You'll notice that the Chapter marker (14) which is usually on the left is found in the middle of the text. Ie. formatting does not seem quite right. Thanks

Just as a privacy option, will prayer lists be synchronized with the Logos server? I would hope not and that this type of personal information would be housed and kept locally. Thoughts? Robin

Thank you, this is so helpful!

When I open a passage guide and click on a corresponding commentary, many times the commentary will scroll along with my open Bible. However, if I simply have my reading plan open (not via a passage guide start) and then open a commentary they don't seem to be linked so that scrolling in one, scrolls the other open resource. How can I link windows to

Sometimes when I've finished reading a selection, I click on the "Mark as Read" (both on the words and the check mark) and it doesn't mark the passage as read. Other times, it works fine. My recourse has been to go back to the home page and mark it read via the checkbox in the top area. It would be nice to get this more consistent.

Hello Tom, You asked me to keep you posted on this. The good news is that Logos is now running and working well. My open files are now back to unlimited as well. The bad news is that I had to wipe my whole computer to do so and reinstall from scratch. Apple didn't really want to find out why the limit was unchangeable. Instead they just had me start

I typed in the first command. It prompted me for my password saying to be careful with the sudo command. after providing it, I ran ulimit -H -a and it looked the same. Ie., it didn't increase it to more than 2000. Thus when I ran the last command, it crashed again. Hmm. Is this something I need to call Apple for? I imagine your actual version beta or
