• Re: Bundles for Books of the Bible

Hopefully something like that will be provided again. The way the topical bundles are divided into different sizes is really beneficial as it allows someone with limited cash to choose what they can afford.

  • Bundles for Books of the Bible

Maybe this has been suggested before, but I was thinking that it would be nice if just like there are topical bundles (e.g., ancient literature, early church, etc.) if there were also books of the Bible bundles. For example, I am particularly interested in Exodus, so how about small, medium, large and extra large bundles of commentaries/studies on that

  • Verbum Advanced Academic Training

Just wondering if there is any update or any progress on the release of the Verbum Advanced Academic Training? It's been under contract for a long time and it was my impression (quite possibly incorrect!) that it would follow not too long after the Verbum Advanced Search Training...

  • The Kingdom New Testament

I thought Logos would have N. T. Wright's The Kingdom New Testament , but I can't find it. Do they really not have it, or am I just not looking correctly?

Yes, I know there can be sometime significant divergence, but I was just wanting something to give me quick, rough idea of the time period referred to.

Thanks guys, I actually don't have the NBD, but those other charts will work great.

  • Archaeology Chart

Does anyone know of a handy chart (online or in Logos) which one could quickly refer when reading such terms as 'Iron Age I', 'Bronze Age II', etc.? These are referred to so often in scholarly literature, but I have a difficult time remembering how to place them chronologically.

  • Re: Search for travel times between biblical locations?

You should all check out Orbis - I think it is exactly what you are looking for. It comes from Stanford and uses the ancient Roman road system and sea routes to calculate travel times by ship, foot, donkey, cart, etc. It is really good. You can access it here: http://orbis.stanford.edu NB: for some reason, a few features do not seem to work for me in
Hi everyone, The winner of the 24-hour face-off will be available for 45% off starting after 10am today! You can always click on "Get deals" on www.logosmarchmadness.com to see the latest items on sale, too.
Thanks for the info. Will the discount on Aquinas last as long as the other MM deals? Or is there only a short
Once the 45% off items go on sale, they should be listed here .
Okay, thanks. The link doesn't seem to take me to anything, but I'm guessing that's because the items aren't on sale yet.

  • Proclaim vs Powerpoint

Just interested in hearing from those who have used both Proclaim and Power Point what they think the pros and cons are when comparing them. I have gotten pretty comfortable with Power Point and if I was to switch to Proclaim, I would want to feel sure that it would be well worth the cost and effort to become familiar with a new program.
The indication is that in order get the proper sigma at the end of the word you would type "v" on your keyboard. • Final sigma problem

Just wondering if someone might be able to help me figure out why I can't get a final sigma to show up when typing in Greek. I am using the Tyndale House Greek Keyboard. It used to be that when I typed a sigma at the end of a word it was automatically converted to the final form, but it doesn't happen now. I'm not sure where the problem lies.

  • Re: March Madness & Women Writers
I am not trying to be the contradicting voice here, but I for one do not like this idea. For my part, I do not care what is the gender of the writer of a particular resource. What I value is the quality of the content of the resource. What I want to see in MM is the opportunity to get the most useful resources at a great discount
