Never mind... I figured it out... instead of trying to float a single recourse I just dragged the whole thing over to the third monitor then I could make adjustments once it was over... took a while to figure that out

  • Trouble adding a third monitor

Hi folks... I have been using two monitors for a while... no issues. I just added a third one. I can open other programs on it or transfer other things to it... but logos stuff will not move over. I called tech support and they claim that it is a monitor issue... but the other programs work fine... also if I open Logos on the new monitor I can transfer

  • Is it possible to merge notes created from a workflow into a different notebook?

I love the idea of a workflow, but the notes generated seem to go into a workflow note rather than the note/ notebook related to the passage that I am studying. Perhaps this has been covered, but is there a way to anchor all workflow notes to a particular passage, and then to merge all those anchored notes to the appropriate notebook?
I am surprised that prioritization hasn't shown up several times in this thread - a version or two back it was a big issue and it still is an unsatisfactory mess.
You are absolutely right. It would be great if the resources were divided by type, THEN give us the ability to prioritize. Also, I would be happy if Logos

  • How do I create a passage list from a Bible Word Study

I have a pretty good basic understanding of Logos, but there are some areas where I need help. I know how to create a passage list from a search, is there any way to import a passage list from a Bible Word Study? In other words if I click on a part of the ring, get a list of several verses where the particular word is used, is there a way to save that

I want to chime in here as a long time MP student. Over the years I have attended several training seminars, not just for the training, which is top notch, but also for the fellowship. I feel that I want to keep company with men and women who love the Bible so much they are willing to invest time and $$ in a program like LOGOS. While I value the online

  • Re: AV vs KJV 1900

Levi, you have just added much time to my work week! I have been manually taking out the 1900 from every verse reference in every slide and in every printed document because I believe they are essentially the same and it was causing confusion. This is a wonderful solution. Thanks also for the folks who posted the article about the 1900 being the best

So if I explain to the folks that this KJV 1900 is merely updated spelling, is that an accurate statement?

  • AV vs KJV 1900

I preach in a King James only church. When I use Logos resources I use the KJV 1900 because it has the interlinear feature. It does however raise eyebrows when folks see something other than KJV next to a Bible quotation. Are there any textual differences between the Logos AV and the KJV 1900? Thanks for your help.

  • Re: Pastors, How do you use illustrations with Logos?

The illustrations that I have added to my notes are not only tagged, but also anchored to specific verses with an orange star so I know that there is an illustration I believed to be relevant to that particular verse. It serves as a bit of a wake up call to me in my prep. Also, I find when looking for illustrations to finish out my sermon, I end up

  • Text comparison in Powerpoint and Word

I am teaching a class on textual variations and would love an easy way to export a logos textual comparison to a power point slide. In fact I will have 20 or 30 passages. I would love a way to export the whole list to Word, not just one at a time. I would also like to get the entire chart copied over to ppt... it would seem that the whole thing does

  • Re: Pastors, How do you use illustrations with Logos?

I use both the Logos Notes and the Logos Illustrations tab to find, save and record illustrations. I also subscribe to sermoncentral.com . In Logos notes I have created a notebook just for illustrations. When I find a good one, I will paste it to my notebook and anchor it to the appropriate verses and tag the note with key words such as subject matter

  • Where did the stars go?

I am happy with the recent fixes to the notes. ( Hyperlink restored... notes can be sorted in verse order) However... I use the star icon to mark anchored illustrations in the passages. It seems that the star is no longer available? Am I missing something?

So I just tried to post a copy of something from a devotional using visual filter... it was also rejected. I tried to post a visual copy of 1 Peter 1:16 this morning from KJV and I got a message that this was offensive content... I tried different backgrounds... all rejected. I tried several different verses, and as long as I used the visual copy tool.. it rejected my attempts every time. I tried other versions and the famous John 3:16, but all were rejected
