  • Re: Where does Faithlife (and other Bible software companies) get their talent pool.

I am going to reply to both of you in this one thread to make things easier. @Adam B. I am glad to hear that Faithlife does consider remote hiring and the internship program is something they really believe in. This is definitely something I would have an interest with when I start college in 1 or 2 years, I specifically want to get some dual-education

  • Where does Faithlife (and other Bible software companies) get their talent pool.

Something that interests me is how do companies like Faithlife (Biblegateway branch of Harpercollins, BibleWorks, etc) find the unique talent pool needed to create their software and hire them in one place. Faithlife has virtually all their employees at their Bellingham office (I am not aware of any remote employees or other offices). My question is

  • Re: Tips for having a successful Faithlife page for a Christian website

Can you recommend any specific group or people to ask to join? I realize that groups would be the way to target, but I need some specifics to help get started. If I am unable to get advice (from anyone) on this, nor my other recent thread Faithlife may be a lost cause for my site. In Christ

Thanks for pointing out my swapping of organizations. I can start looking at the API some, but I was curious if anyone had already made a tool or if someone could help me make one? I am sure I am not the only one that would benefit from this (which is why I wouldn't be surprised if a tool was already developed)

  • Tips for having a successful Faithlife page for a Christian website

Hello. My name is Adam (a.k.a Superdadsuper, who is not a dad). I am the Founder, Senior Content & Community Manager (volunteer) of a website I run alongside a retired Bible Scholar called Bible Wiki and I am only in my teens. Regardless of my age I had a few questions and suggestions about Faithlife . I was wondering if Faithlife had any tips or

  • Reftagger not working with hoster

After trying to import the reftagger script , to my site Biblicalapedia . I have added it the Common.js file (this is on the test version of the site) by using importArticles, BibleVerses.Js. After it still doesn't work I have investigated it to find that an error is coming from our hoster Wikia . The error is as follows: "Uncaught Module id missing

  • is Faithlife/Logos a Christian Company?

Something I have wondered, is Faithlife/Logos a company that considers itself as Christian or claims Christ? I understand that Logos and Faithlife is very much about aiding in equipping believers (2 Tim 2:15) in using the mighty sword: The Bible. Nowhere on Faithlife or Logos website in the "about" section do I see a statement of faith and it concerns

  • Re: Issues with reftagger

There is a specific element "ol class="references" in which the references are found under. I think asides from having it append under that a problem may be the reftagger script is not applied to ol tags (i'm unsure)

  • Re: Issues with reftagger

That does not seem to work. One of the issues might be is that I believe the "common.js" file loads before the the end of the body tag. What needs to be done is a way to take this script and have it appended at the end (I wouldn't know how to do that without replacing the current part of the script at the bottom var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName

  • Issues with reftagger

Hello. I am Superdadsuper, I am an Administrator and Bureaucrat (this means that when we are larger I have more weight to decisions, more active, and have more of a leadership role compared to other admins as well as managing them) of Biblicalapedia . Thanks for the quick reply Kevin. I guess I have to do some more keystrokes to get to the lexicons. Blessings.

  • Hebrew New Testament: double clicking a word does not open Hebrew Lexicon ...

I bought and downloaded HNT today, and Logos4 has finished indexing. But I encountered these two problems: 1) Mousing over the Hebrew text does not bring up a parsing tag, and 2) Double clicking a word in the text does not open BDB or HALOT. Instead an blank window of "power lookup" pops up. Please help.
