yes - as you might notice - I don't spend much time in the forums. a link to those discussions would have made your comment useful.

Wow. that's a terrible shame. I hope Logos and Moody can work something out. This is a business, and I understand that, but the spiritual lives of people are at stake when we are speaking of this genre. - not that there aren't other great resources available, but these were at the top of the pastoral list for me. I graduate from seminary in one week

  • hide command window?

Two questions. 1. Is there a way to hide the command window? I don't use it, and need the real estate. 2. Is there a way to move the "layouts" tab back over to the left side of the window? I just installed the logos 5 mac engine a few weeks ago and need it moved. Why? I usually have logos and ms word open, so I can study and write as I go. With the

for sure. I used to work for Dreamworks on their animated features utilizing over 16 server procs to do local work via fiber and multi-gigabit connections. And that wasn't using any of my 8 processor, 8-core local procs and little of my local memory. But that is, as Paul said, all counted as loss for the sake of Christ. So "hot rod" has now been redefined

Good catch. I personally use a mac at home, but a pc at church. I clicked the wiki link but got this error when I clicked the "logos 4 PC installer." This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. • reinstall logos 4

Got a new computer at work (I work at a church) - I have logos 4 still, and need to re-install the logos 4 exe. it will then see my login and download my resources. Where can I find that online, so I don't have to dig up my discs? Is this still possible? Sorry if this has already been covered in another post. Thanks very much!

  • Re: resource couldn't be opened

Suggestion: Instead of "this resource could not be opened" put "you do not currently own this resource from Logos. Click here for purchase information" (or something similar) Thanks for all your hard work logos! What a valuable resource this has been in seminary.

that makes sense. another commentary that I have, has the pop-up window, and the resource opens. I get it now. was just confusing since the links looked the same. Thanks for your help. Now back to Acts 2:36-41! Loving it.

  • resource couldn't be opened

I have the Silver package. Using Mac. There are 4 commentaries which will not open. Logos says, "the resource couldn't be opened for some reason". Each one is on the book of Acts by: Longenecker, Marshall, Barrett and Witherington III. I found these by looking through "Commentaries for Biblical Expositors" by Rosscup. They appear to be linked. Am I

the right to left is helpful. nice find. the masoretic vowell pointings don't paste accurately even with this setting in OO for me though. try gen 1:1. see the discussion above. notice the pointings under the first word are crunched together.

  • Layout hit wrong button - can I go back?

So I've been doing much syntactical analysis on Isaiah 1:18-20 (very rewarding...God is so good). I went to update my layout for this particular Hebrew study, but instead hit the "hebrew" layout I had previously saved. Woosh - all my windows gone (just like I told it to do). Arrrgh. Is there any kind of "back button" or something so I can return to
