• Re: Did Logos Get Dumped from the Search Engines?
Ok, Celeste, you're being difficult. I'm smiling. Not just authors.
Not intentionally Thanks for bearing with me.
Again, not to offend, but something happened. The easy answer is the new site, but I doubt it. Seems like something else. It's also kind of odd DuckDuck matches Google so closely.[/quote

  • Re: Did Logos Get Dumped from the Search Engines?
She can correct me if I am wrong, but I think the broader point Denise is making is that the Logos.com domain isn't optimized correctly to display in general, everyday searches by everyday folks, thus potentially resulting in significant new customer /sales losses for Faithlife. The average consumer wont know to use site:logos

  • Re: Did Logos Get Dumped from the Search Engines?

While we want you to be able to use our own site search to find what you're looking for, I thought I'd pass along this search engine tip - you can specify what site you want a search engine to search by using "site:www.example.com" in the search bar. "site:www.logos.com jodi magness"

  • Re: Did Logos Get Dumped from the Search Engines?
Here's an easy one on DuckDuck. I paged until I gave up. Amazon showed, etc. Even Bart Ehrman's blog had something. Regarding searches, on a mini, the search window is tiny, so you have to type in the dark and no edits. Ergo DuckDuck.
Thanks, Denise. That's helpful information. We are doing some work now to improve our author
Tonight I made several DuckDuck and Google searches. Zippo Logos.com, even though Logos had the resources. Ironically, even Bibleworks had results (along with Accordance, ChristianDiscount, and hundreds more).
Denise, would you mind providing a few examples so we can investigate? Our search ranking for products should have

  • Re: Wish List priority gone
I just noticed that the priorities I'd set for items in my wish lists are no longer being shown. Why would Logos think this is an improvement? I spent a LOT of time prioritizing the items in my wish lists and use those priorities when deciding what to buy when things go on sale. John
I apologize for the inconvenience

Are you still experiencing these issues? We pushed out a couple weeks ago that should have addressed this.

  • Re: NEW WEBSITE PROBLEM - PREPUBS
Thanks Celeste, but “Ship date” narrowed it down to seeing only those resources that were about to ship first. With the new website you have to scroll down and some show the ship date others don’t. It’d be nice to keep them separate and save time when browsing what’s about to ship in order to make purchase

  • Re: Order History Page Lacks Feature

Sorry that we don't have this feature on the new site yet. In the meantime you can use "Ctrl + F" (or "Cmd + F" on a Mac) to use the browser search to search within the page.

  • Re: NEW WEBSITE PROBLEM - PREPUBS
Another problem I see is that you can’t filter Prepubs by “Ship date.” You can filter by “Progress” and some include ship date, but others don’t. It’d be extremely helpful if we could get sort by “ship date” back! Thanks! DAL
We included the "Ship date" logic in the "Progress
Bump for Celeste.
Thanks for the feedback. We're working on exposing both pre-ordered and owned collections. We might not be able to put them in a specific order just yet, but we'll get them exposed again shortly.

We're sorry this happened, it wasn't an intentional change with the new website. We plan to have sorting Pre-Pubs by ship date working in the next few business days.

  • Re: NEW WEBSITE PROBLEM - PREPUBS

Petah and Vincent, Thank you both for your input on this thread, and I apologize for the confusion it's caused. We had intended it to be a helpful change to hide things that were already owned/ordered, but it makes sense that there are situations where that is not actually helpful - sorry that we made the wrong choice there. We are working on fixing

  • Re: NEW WEBSITE PROBLEM - PREPUBS

We just made the change this afternoon, so I wonder if you got caught in an 'in between' state. It also takes a few moments for those sections to load (and takes longer when you're logged in because it's checking what you already own). Can you try again, being logged in, and give it a few extra moments to load? Let me know if that doesn't resolve it

Thank you, everyone for checking out the new site, and providing your feedback in this thread and through the survey. Vincent, Can you send me an example of a page you're looking at? There should be a section at the very bottom of the paget that shows if the resource is included in any other bundles.

Because changing one filter makes &unlocked=no go away
That's annoying.
