• Re: Please help me with my search string
So an interesting search is (<Lemma = lbs/he/צום>, <Lemma = lbs/he/צוֹם>) INTERSECTS {Speaker <Person God>} - where I am using two different lemmas used for fasting which gives some useful results
Thank you very much, Graham. I missed the search of the ROOT, but I have a great teacher, I expanded

  • Re: Passage Guide: default nober of Bibles?

Thank you Graham. Appreciate your help ... again. I have learned the last day or some that organising the library and some important layouts, are crucial in work working with Logos. I'm putting in some time & effort into understanding how the library works. Deon
Another tool you may want to consider learning about is the the Cited By tool. Below are a few links to help get you started. I think this tool is much underrated and I include it in almost all my layouts. https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015718091-Cited-By https://wiki.logos.com/Cited_By
Thank you. • This search should have returned results ...

Hi. This search string, which I built with one of the search temples, did not return any results: {Speaker <Person Paul>} INTERSECTS {Addressee <Person Timothy>} INTERSECTS faith I am learning so I wanted Logos to tell me all the places where Paul talks to Timothy about faith. Or, can it be that faith is not listed as something that Paul

Thanks Phil. So I must just remember that Speak does not mean write. Speak is always audible.
There is a manual
Thanks, this I have studied. I was just wondering if there is a list of all the senses available.

  • Need to change how Logos displays verses/text

Hi and thanks for your help. (Still learning) Somehow I changed somewhere in Logos to have verses displayed one below the other. How do I get it to be "normal/default" again? On the attached screenshot, I notice that 2-3 verses below and 2-3 verses below a specific text is also displayed and it should not. The screenshot is of the Bible browser and

  • Re: What who assign "Ranked" number in Library?

Thank you so much for your reply, Dave. This helps me a lot. It is a pity that it is not possible to use headers in the list when prioritizing books. Can I ask, why do you sometimes use books ranked -20, -10 and so on and not the top ones? (Just out of curiosity.) It's a privilege to learn from many "Forum Mentors" like yourself and many others. I appreciate

David, thank you once again. This is what I have: <LogosMorphGr ~ V??M????> and it works perfectly well. Maybe I's trying a too big chunk ... I need to search for all places where Paul commands his readers to do good. The "do good" search on its ow, is: <Sense = good (moral)> BUT I don't know how to use these two together. I have tried this

Hi again. I am sure that this is possible but I am not sure how to construct such a search string. Can you please assist.

  • Re: Please help me with my search string
The problem is with the double quotation mark after the first search term. If you remove it you get the results I think you are expecting. (And I don't know why that mark has that particular affect!) Thank you. I need to focus. That's an interesting idea - but when I tried a Clause Search with subject:god verb-lemma:צום

  • Command and Speaker in search string: is this correct?

Hi all and thank you for your help. I am studying all Documentation of the different Data Sets. I noticed that there is not an example in the "Commands in the Bible Dataset documentation" on the person who gives the command. I put this together from what I have learned in earlier documentation: {Label Command WHERE Type ~ Invitation} INTERSECTS {Speaker

  • Search for most recent updates to my library

Hi there and thank you for your help. For almost a year now I did not clear my most recent updates to my library. The reason is that I see updates of stuff I did not even realise I have. For a reason I cannot even imagine, I cleared the list. Is it possible to get it back or see the most recent updates to my library? I remember seeing something that
