New features every 6 weeks (again) would be nice!
Maybe you're more of a power user than me John but I disagree. I think that Logos employees' time would be better spent improving the features we have. I want to get better at using the features I have, and for the features themselves to get better. For example, recently

Hi Ben, This one https://www.logos.com/product/16036/institutes-of-the-christian-religion is generally considered the most accessible. Given its size and scope, you'll want to make a start soon :) It's available in various base packages and collections so it's worth checking to see if you can get a better deal that way. Colin.

I'm not sure the Community Pricing is working properly. It doesn't look to me if the curve has changed all week, even though attention has been drawn to it in this thread. The wrong information in the email we all received and the static curve are all I have to go on but it is curious that the price hasn't moved. Colin

  • Re: $15 for works of Octavius Winslow -- what a deal!

Thanks for bringing this one to wider attention. I have had my bid in for some time because I seldom come away from reading Winslow without having had my heart warmed and been moved to prayer. These books would be great to have in Logos. Colin.

Hi Stephen, I found the second quotation in your pair. I note that his verb of supplanting does not rule out supplementing! (lol) "What a degradation to supplant the intelligent song of the whole congregation by the theatrical prettinesses of a quartette, the refined niceties of a choir, or the blowing off of wind from inanimate bellows and pipes! • Provide Luther's works in German as well as English

I have found Logos to be an incomparable resource for academic research. Recently, I've been preparing a paper on 'Wrestling with Luther and the Old Testament' and have benefited again from having Luther's Works in Logos, and the wide range of academic books and journals on Luther, together with the search capability. One of the drawbacks to having

I was doing a search yesterday and noticed that the initial problem of Edward for Edwards has still not been fixed. Indeed I have results from Edwards, Jonathan and Jonathan Edwards as well as Jonathan Edward. I also have Luther, Martin together with Martin Luther. Finally, there is Charles H. Spurgeon and Charles Spurgeon. Given Mark and MJ's rather

  • Re: Prepub partly available in Lutheran libraries but no new to you section.

I bought the remaining annotated Luther volumes via 'quick buy' but unfortunately, most likely because it is just a commitment to buy rather than an actual purchase, it hasn't affected my pre-pub price at all. I've since realised that I fell foul of the complicated pricing system - the discount on those 2 volumes is in fact 36%, not 67% - the 67% discount

Thanks everyone for your replies. I've taken the time to check out the bundle and have discovered just 8 volumes which I do not own. The rest were all available in base packages. My dynamic price is $111.73. I thought I would give details so others don't have to take the time as I did, trying to find if the remaining volumes were interesting to me and

  • Pre-pub. Lutheran Library Expansion Bundle with no 'new to you'

Is it possible to get a New To You section for this collection? https://www.logos.com/product/120479/fortress-lutheran-library-expansion-bundle It is very hard to find out which volumes I am missing and whether they are worth what the collection costs me with dynamic pricing. I think a salesperson once told me they can see this kind of information quite

This product is due to ship on 13th December and there is neither a new to you section or the usual section at the bottom with the stars indicating which books you own already. Can anything be done to make the decision to purchase (or not) an easier one? Thanks, Colin.

  • Re: Opinions: Best Reformed Expository Commentaries

Hi Doc B, Unfortunately you'll pay a premium price for the best reformed commentaries in Logos - the Reformed Expository Commentary series. But some of the authors have written in other series and in stand-alones so if you search for Sinclair Ferguson, Phil Ryken, Derek Thomas etc you ought to find some great books and the price won't be as high. I've looked a little more and I think I know why you said you had 2 out of the 3 books and I also think this package is priced poorly - it's not good value. If anyone wants these books it is probably cheaper to buy supernatural separately, this getting 2 of the 5 books and hopefully saving on the dynamic pricing. I have no way to check this but if the
