Dale--I missed your comment about MSG. Is MSG the Message? That was included in our updates and should be working. (It is on my machine.) If it's not working for you, I'd like to figure out what is happening.

As you have guessed, the CEB has not been updated to include these new visual filters. With some known exceptions, we focused our updating efforts on Bibles that were included in Logos 6 base packages. (The notable exceptions would be Dead Sea Scrolls documents and Talmudic literature. These are classified as Bibles but are still on our "to update"

  • Re: NA28 Apparatus Update?

Good news. The final major hurdle has been cleared. I anticipate this being in your hands by the end of the month. Again, I'm very sorry for the delay. I'm as excited as you are to have this released. (I'm not only a Logos employee. I'm a Logos user.)

Bradley, I tried to register the LSmtTg64.dll but am getting this error... RegWvr32 The module "C:\Users\Path"...failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found. I am running Windows 8.1 with the latest Logos 5 updates

  • Re: NIB EXCURSUS formatting

Thanks Dan We'll take a look at this one and use it as an opportunity to re-evaluate how we format an excursus--especially in cases where the excursus is not set off by something incredibly obvious like a change in background color.

I am very sorry about the delay in getting this released. Believe me when I say I'm as excited in getting this out to you as you are in having it. The resource itself is produced. We're waiting on one thing before we can finally release it. I anticipate that final step being cleared in late-August, early-September.

  • Re: BUG: NIDB and Topic Guide

Our strong desire is to make sure resources are complete when we ship them. We’ve been retooling our processes for adding topic information (the LCV), and consequently some resources (like NIDB) that have been underway for a while aren’t complete. We understand people’s disappointment when a new resource is not yet fully functional in Logos. Rest assured

Richard-- I understand your frustrations. It's one we share. We're working on a two fold solution. One is more far-reaching (and outside my department so I have less information about that one). The second has to do with a new method of tagging references to Wallace's GGBTB. Basically I'm coming up with a system where it doesn't matter what version

  • Re: Data error or unrealistic expectations

Unfortunately, we couldn't tag Catena Aurea when it produced at the end of 2010. Bede's Ecclesiastical History wasn't produced in 2011 and we didn't have data type support for Bede's Ecclesiastical History until late 2012.

Thank you for the heads up. I'll be able to make some tweaks to our system to handle the two better.

Thank you. We'll look into it. We also addressed some cases on the metadata correction proposals page.

We've removed the duplicate paragraph. You'll see an update by the end of the month.
Has there happened to be any progress made that would easily allow us to quickly take a footnote to the bibliography to see what is being referenced? I see there was a meeting above about it but don't believe the resource has been updated to this point.
We're making progress. I don't have a timetable yet. Know that

  • Re: Daniel deSilva = David Arthur deSilva?

We've updated the metadata from Daniel deSilva to David A. deSilva. The metadata correction page has been updated as well. We've also put the offending title pages in an update queue. I have no estimated date on when that will be fixed.

I was going to pop in to tell you this is still under construction and it's still being worked on but you bumped me a week ago. Sorry about that. Short story: we've run into font problems with not very good solutions. I've got a couple of solutions being worked out but none of them are satisfactory at the moment.

  • Re: Göttingen Kopfleiste, where art thou?

It is not in our immediate plans to include the Kopfleiste in the relevant volumes. Because they are a print convention there would be some awkwardness in including them. It's not insurmountable but it would be awkward. That being said, if and when these get updated, we will take it under advisement.

  • Re: Moo Resource Problem

David-- The only thing that changed in the new version is a lack of images. The rest of the content is exactly the same. Without getting into too much detail, we were no longer allowed to sell the book with the images in it. This is an extremely unique scenario. I don't recall this every happening before. I hope that is enough information for you. I

  • Re: bug: mobile ed BI101 resource linking...

Thanks Brent, It has not been our practice to tag generic references to an entire resource in either footnotes or the main body of a text. It's possible this hasn't been applied consistently throughout our library. However, as a practice, we do not tag them. It sounds like it is something that is desired (at the very least by you). We will take it under
