Regarding prayers, I am including a short bibliography of other works that I think should be included in the prayers category. There are other resources that include prayers and sermons, etc, but these are just prayers. Black, Ian. Prayers for All Occasions . London: SPCK, 2011. Colquhoun, Frank, ed. Prayers for Today

As Denise correctly observes, the versification isn't in both volumes and there is a lot of analysis and discussion, so maybe 'monograph' is still the best categorization for these books.
Denise was sloppy in her description. The NT volume has verses ... they're just not versified by Logos

  • Re: Question re categorisation of some books
The Freer manuscripts downloaded today - just wondering why they are being categorised as monographs rather than manuscripts?
This was a tricky one for us to categorize. "Manuscripts" is used for non-Biblical texts. We went back and forth on "Bible" and "Monograph" but went with "Monograph" due to its extensive

Rosie: I fixed this but fair warning: this is a Faithlife eBook title and its metadata comes to us through automatic channels. It is possible it gets overwritten at some point.

  • Re: Bible Illustrator Formatting

Just so I can set some expectations ahead of time. There will be some differences between the Old Testament and New Testament formatting. New Testament Due to some constraints of updating a published resource as opposed to starting from scratch the paragraph divisions will occur in three primary places: New verse range indicators Verse range sub-topics

I thought I replied to this earlier but I guess I didn't. To be honest, I'm not sure what happened on our end. (I have my suspicions) This book was tagged along time ago and somehow the links got turned "off". We didn't do anything on our end beyond merely turning them back on. Sorry for the inconvenience and I'm glad its working again.

  • Re: ATTN Kyle: Metadata problems

Rosie We can take a look at this but based upon a quick look at these it appears are related to either Faithlife eBooks whose metadata comes via ONIX feed from the publisher (e.g. B&H or InterVasity) or are part of or large scale scripted PDF media projects--neither of which we plan on updating. Metadata provided via ONIX is delivered to us constantly
Ok, if you mean by versified a Talmud reference like BT Sanh. 99a, then yes, this version is not versified. I think FL needs to issue a disclaimer then.
OK. I think I understand you know where you are coming from. There are two major forms of versification for the Babylonian Talmud. The most common follows a chapter

  • Re: General Question on Links

David--It sounds to me like you might be having issues with your prioritization. For Babylonian Talmud references we use data types for them which means links should resolve to your highest prioritized resource that is indexed by Babylonian Talmud references. Based upon the behavior you described for Orthodox works it sounds like something similar is

Sorry, I missed this the first time. Those are some old books! I've put into motion getting Bible milestones to the three titles in question. Getting page milestones will be trickier as we're running into some materials issues with them. As for the Sheffield/T&T Clark Bible Guides: this question comes up from time to time. We were purposeful on

  • Re: Misdirected link

David: I haven't looked at it fully but based off the snippet you showed it looks correct to me. As Mike mentioned different translations/versions have different versifications. We create verse maps so that whatever your preferred Bible translation might be will have the right verses. In this case it looks like its following a LXX or Vulgate versification
