Thanks, Bill. It does look better on your app/device combination. Only the first line of Phil 4 has a different line spacing because of the chapter number.

I went back to FL's e-mail to check. Well, I began by using the in-app link to 'report a problem'; that generated an e-mail to FL, which I sent. Customer service replied that they do not support the beta, and so I should post in this forum (.../150.aspx). Anyway, they have also sent me a second e-mail which states their team 'is currently aware of these

JT, do you mean the forum "Logos Mobile App Beta (Old)"? To me the term "old" means the forum is no longer active. Or is there another forum?

Using the beta app, the line spacing is uneven, thrown off by what I guess is handling of verse numbers. Do those on the regular app face this issue? My screen resolution is high (over 400 ppi) - the font issues are not due to a poor display. Text is sharp, but does not look good or read well.

+1 The font doesn't display well at reading size on mobile. Some letters look too dark compared to the rest, e.g. G, o, W. This gives an uneven feel and interrupts smooth reading. Both the tracking and leading (even at max) are too tight, resulting in a cramped feel. More attention is spent on deciphering the text and less is left for understanding

Thank you, Bruce. I usually see this message at the top, and if I don't need to deal with it, I just ignore it. But even without any updates, Logos desktop startup is still slow. [quote user="Bruce Dunning"] Darrell, did you know that under "settings" you can control when you would like this to be done so that you can update when it is convenient for

I just opened this thread and am amazed by the discussion generated. I've been happy with Android Logos : it starts up quick enough, allows me to download just the resources I want, even to report typos. It's become the main way I use Logos. Windows desktop Logos , however, is different: it takes long to start up, wants to download like 500MB (or more

Thanks for the discussion. Good points. I tend to do my Bible reading with a paper one. I prefer the physicality of a page, but the portability and space savings of e-books has made them the first choice for reference works such as commentaries. Having a miniature library in my pocket means I can take my Bible study with me anywhere. In terms of screens

Could this be addressed please? I think it's still an issue in the latest Android version. Would really like unlinked tabs of the *same* resource NOT to sync.

  • Can we prevent multiple tabs of same Bible/resource from syncing?

I was hoping to use the tab functionality to switch between different Bible passages - e.g. 3 tabs to compare synoptic parallels. However, 3 tabs of the same Bible (e.g. LEB) will sync after a short while, even though the tabs are not linked. It would be useful if multiple tabs of the same Bible/resource could stay at different points. Another example
