I have been having so many problems since 8 and this wiki now explains why. in my library window on the filter pane it says i have 740 books on "this device" and 4434 books "not on this device. My miseries were accentuated by a PC failure and then a reinstall on a new PC. How do I tell logos to download all those books at one time so I don't have to

fixed, thanks. I had to go into several of my folders in this path and change the properties to uncheck the read-only box. I have no idea why the box got checked. I think a file-system backup is in order today.... D:\Users\johndoe\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\oxjc4r4o.rh4\HomePage\avatar.cache' is denied. On a note of humor....have you ever noticed that

  • Logos 5 has Stopped Working

Starting this morning when I try to open Logos and if I am online, I get a Logos window that says: Logos Bible Software 5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program. If I open the program without being connected to internet (aka offline), it works just fine. Any ideas?

  • Re: Scofield Reference Bible (Notes): Can I make it show up in commentary window?

thanks, yes that would work and I could end up using that. But what I'm really after is to be able to use the "prioritize" field in the library window to rank the resources without having to make a collection. When I rank the Scofield notes they prioritize correctly amongst the other notes in my collection but the scofield dooes not prioritize with

Just to clear up my question; its easy to dock the notes tab into the commentary window. What I'm trying to do is make the notes prioritize within the commentaries in the window...so when I use the arrow keys to scroll thru the commentaries....the notes are interspersed as defined in the library prioritization.

  • Smooth L5 Upgrade

I was really worried my upgrade from L4-L5 would leave me sorry because I just dont have the time to reconfigure everything when it comes up on 5. Yes the money verses the resources was a humongus factor but I was past that. It was the fear of chasing lost resources, re-doing layouts, resetting preferred resources, and all that holding me back. Between

  • Re: Ascension vs Martyrdom of Isaiah

I recognize the experience here between all ya'll but it seems to me that a low-cost, high impact starting place for Logos would be to put the individual titles of "every" non-Biblical into the collections currently sold. That way, the Logos sales team and key-word-searches on the site would pick up the titles and thusly limit frustrations specifically

  • Ascension vs Martyrdom of Isaiah

This weekend I bought the Ascension of Isaiah which turns out to be a commentary not inclusive of the English text of the Ascension of Isaiah. I own "The Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament in English" which includes the "Martyrdom of Isaiah" in English. Martyrdom is the first five chapters of Ascension so I am still missing any access

  • Bible Search following install on new PC

LOGOS Tech Support is so great. LOGOS is so great. I got a new company PC. During the corporate install all my logos files were ported into the same "logos" folder where I had it installed on the old PC. I connected to logos.com and re-installed LOGOS, pointing the install to the pre-existing folder where all the resources were. The LOGOS installer

  • Re: J. Vernon Mcgee?

Isn't it wonderful that we have his thoughts in such detail? How many modern ministries would dodge any question like that like dodging a skunk? Also, JVM's radio shows can be downloaded to your Ipod/Blackberry (entire Bible) for free....now there's a guy spreading the word - as opposed to some of the ministries that charge an arm&leg for tapes/dvd

Turns out that the above "satisfied" response was before indexing finished. Now that indexing is done....I am "very" satisfied with the info window. Everybody go move your votes to other items. Thanks again to Logos joe

I have my 4.0b upgrade. The info window has additional control so that now I can get the same info in loosely the same time (nonscientific estimate) I could in ver 3. Having it upgrade on click instead of hover, and gtting rid of unused info displayed in the window was a key for me. Thanks to Logos for listening to us and fixing this item....joe

I'm still in 11-2 but I'm flexible to any time if we want to re adjust because of small group. I can still bring projector if needed. Is there a nonmember option for golf? I'm a terrible golfer but its spozed to be 70 and clear.... Regarding agenda, I'd like it if while folks were telling how they used LOGOS or at a different time, that I could see
