• Please fix this simple but longstanding and problematic deficiency in reading plans

I know L9 just added new capabilities to reading plans. I'm hoping to try those out soon. In the meantime, can you please fix this longstanding shortcoming in reading plans. To be specific, if I open an existing reading plan, I can't interact with it at all until I hit the "Edit" button. But as soon as I do that, there's no way to cancel any changes

  • Pastor / Birthday emails??

My birthday happens to be this month, same as Pastor Appreciation Month. I've not received emails about either. Has FL discontinued those specials? Has anyone else received either applicable email notice for this month? Yes - I've checked junk/quarantined/etc. email locations. Thanks, Donnie
I am sorry Donnie, but there is not a way to retrieve that.
Thanks for the reply, Joe. May I re-submit my almost 2 year old request for enhancements to mobile layouts which would make the issue I ran into a lot more unlikely: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/177009.aspx Thanks again, Donnie

While I hope I wouldn't communicate with the vitriol that David is communicating, I agree with him 100% that FL doesn't deliver what it advertises. And a link data model which automatically accounted for new arrivals would have taken care of this years ago. An interesting exercise would be determining what percent of references in Logos books to other

  • Retrieving a mobile layout

Is there any way to retrieve a mobile layout that I accidentally overwrote with the not-as-helpful-as-it-should-be "Update" function? Thanks, Donnie

FWIW, I've been super-please lately with the instant availability of my purchases in the mobile app. Even last week, I purchased a monograph and as fast as I could open the mobile app on my iPad and go to the library, it was there. Less than a minute, for sure. -Donnie

Phil (and FL team): In case this hasn't come up in this (very long ;) thread, please review what's referenced here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/175093.aspx?PageIndex=2 "Polish" or "fit and finish" improvements like these really do go a long way toward the product "feeling" finished and improving user experience. -Donnie

  • Re: OT: Tablet with wired connection?

First, know that I'm a "wired whenever possible" person - TV, Apple TV, receiver, etc. - they're all wired. So I get the general benefit of wired. I'm wondering why you want a tablet to be wired, though. If you're not having good connectivity via wifi, you can probably solve that for your tablet and for other devices less expensively than with a new
Would you please elaborate?
Sure. In spite of what Diego Lara stated (and I mean no offense toward him), you can do just a minimum amount of research into all of the security holes that 3rd party AV solutions introduce into your system. They are poorly implemented, security-wise - presenting new vectors of attack all

Third-party antivirus software is the virus. (I realize this doesn't deal w/ the situation you're actually in, but as a piece of advice from a 30+ year technologist...) -Donnie

  • Re: Issues with Fuzzy Bible Search

Fuzzy search is getting better. But even last week it didn't come up with a verse and I went to DuckDuckGo (I very rarely search w/ google any longer). I think the biggest challenge is that web search engines get immediate feedback on the accuracy of their results based on the links the user clicks on. So it's not just a full-text search (w/ adjustments
