Phil: I think this has been referenced in this thread, but I couldn't find it just now. Please fix the problems with tabs that goes back to the changes with the L8 release. You seemed to agree with the feedback at the time: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/174066/1005146.aspx - It takes a disproportionate number of clicks to move from the leftmost

The litany of problems with "tabs" behavior and appearance goes back to the release of L8: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/174066/1005146.aspx Phil Gons said they were considering correcting / improving it, but I've not seen any evidence of actual changes since then. It's super-frustrating. -Donnie
The mobile reading plan implementation is severely broken. Dozens of cases already exist and I don't expect any of them to be fixed in the next few years but that's just my opinion.
As I pointed out in my original post, it's not just a problem with reading plans. Normal Bible navigation results in the same problem. -Donnie

Bump. Denise's always-inscrutable replies are appreciated... But I'd like a response from someone at FL. Thanks, Donnie

A major shortcoming when browsing resources and adding them to your cart is that the site immediately takes you to your cart. That makes it difficult and error prone to return to the list of resources you were looking at. If your list is based on a search and a faceted filter and a sort and a count per page, you have to hope the back button works or

To my recollection, since the earliest mobile apps were released, where the app takes you when you navigate to a specific verse in a Bible has seemed to be random, best I can tell. Rather than the selected verse being at the top of the screen (since that's where you want to start), it can be anywhere on the screen. And frequently it's near the very

A couple of related things that immediately come to mind are: Overhaul sentence diagramming BibleArc-like features for phrasing - it should be as easy and responsive as BibleArc is Thanks, Donnie

No. I know the difference between "on", "sleeping", "hibernate", and "off". If it were any of the last 3, I wouldn't have asked the question. -Donnie

(bump) FL: Any comment on this? Thanks, Donnie

FWIW, I experience this all the time in L8, too. Can't tell you right now exactly which text entry fields, but search fields are the big one. It's frustrating b/c I'll want my cursor in between words or letters to adjust the search phrase. But I can't tell if it's in the right place w/o typing. -Donnie
was the machine running with Logos open between 1:00 a.m. and 7 a.m.? You restricted the download to night-time, possibly you didn't give it a chance to operate.
I pretty much answered that in my original post: the machine is on overnight every night. I didn't explicitly say that L8 was running, but it was. -Donnie

8.9 came out Tue Nov 12. It's Fri Nov 15, and 8.9 still hasn't been applied overnight as my settings should cause it to do. I'd gotten used to this behavior over the last 2-3 years. L7 / L8 almost never auto-updated. But the last couple of releases have auto-updated (8.7 and 8.8, I believe). So I thought maybe whatever was causing this had been fixed

From last December: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/177009.aspx FL acknowledged the suggestions but hasn't made any changes in the app to implement them or improve layouts. -Donnie
