• Re: "Could not copy files to SD card"

I haven't heard anything from support yet. Since 6.0.7 beta is up, I tried it, same result. Out of curiosity, I installed Biblia Logos 6.0.5 and that works. The problem is, I'm a cessationist and I never learned Spanish.

I already talked about this, beginning with the original post.
Have you enabled storage permissions for the Logos app?
Yes, I had to uninstall/reinstall when I switched between beta and release; I did it twice and cleared caches. I installed Logos on my wife's phone and it didn't give me the error message. It never asked for external storage permission and it hasn't placed any files there, only on internal storage. I can't see my device on my Logos account since I never

I put the phone in Airplane Mode, launched Logos, same result. As for the other stuff, I have no idea what you're referring to; the app doesn't run at all. It halts almost immediately after launch with no user interaction possible. If by "Desktop", you mean Logos on my PC, I can't see where it knows anything about the phone; they aren't connected in

It isn't a "warning"; Logos/Faithlife titled the window, "Error". Please don't eisegete my post. I don't know how much clearer I can be: like I said, I clicked "Install" in the Google Play Store--the same as installing any other Android app--and this was the result. There was never any opportunity for me to do anything else. Do understand that there

I didn't say anything about installing it on the SD card. I installed these apps from the Google Play Store and during the first run, I get this error message.

  • "Could not copy files to SD card"

Upon opening Logos (release and beta, as well as Faithlife Study Bible) apps on Android 7.1.2, a fullscreen window opens with this error message: "Could not copy files to SD card" (and no ability to report a problem within the app). Neither app asked for permissions, so I enabled them manually (Settings | Apps) to no avail. I do have an external SD

  • Re: Logos 7 crashes PC during indexing with no error message

Indexing is resource intensive; therefore, any hardware issues will be more likely to be exposed then. Spontaneous reboots are symptomatic of power issues and potentially cooling issues. Abrupt loss of power indicates a cooling issue and power issues. The first thing I would check is cooling. Are internal fans spinning? Are the fans, heatsinks, and

I wonder if it is the 5K resolution Logos isn't handling well. I have essentially the same hardware for my Win10 desktop, only 2560x1080 display.

I can't say I'm happy with Logos' scrolling performance on my Surface Pro 2017 ( 2736 x 1824, same dpi) on the home page or books (but it is far worse on the home page). On the home page, trying to scroll with the touchpad is futile; I have to either use PgUp/PgDn keys or grab the scrollbar. Scrolling on the home page does appear to peg one CPU core

Google shouldn't be able to find Bible text better than my Logos Platinum Get logs out of Documents. • Re: New Believer - Where To Begin

He wants to read the Bible. That is the interim goal. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The concern is that he'll read it properly (that's a concern for all of us, believers included); this is where you come in with sound biblical hermeneutics to answer his questions and exposit what the Bible teaches and the implications of it

I find it biblical: You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your

I think your critique is harsh. Surely you can see the irony of this. ("...teaching of kindness...") I think it's pretty neat in that it blends Warhol era ('80's) with the contemporary Millennial era that's all about the emoji (emojis? I dunno the plural; I grew up on ASCII art).

Thanks for the link. I looked for it before asking and I couldn't find it and even after having the link, I still couldn't find it--it's rather apocryphal :). Suggestion: Add "Subscription" under the Products | Courses menu; add it to the "What is Logos Mobile Ed?" page and add it to the submenu bar on that page ("Certificates Topics Courses Faculty
