  • Greek and Hebrew Details-on-Hover not working on left side of screen?

Hi all! Have a weird issue cropping up on Logos desktop on MacOS. It's been going on for a few weeks, both on Logos 8 and 9 and on MacOS 11.1 and 11.2. When I have a Greek NT (NA27) or Hebrew OT (BHS) filling the left hand column of my Logos window, the little box that pops up on hover with grammatical and gloss information doesn't show up. If I move

So does Logos run fine on an M1 Mac using Rosetta? Anyone try using the iOS version on the Mac. That probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but I'd be curious.

I wanted to jump in on this. I’m testing out a magic keyboard with my iPad and, WOW, it’s really nice! But, not being able to highlight and select anything in Logos books in a way that makes any sense with the trackpad is frustrating. Hoping iPadOS 14 will make this more automatic for apps with selectable text. It’s not just Logos

  • Hebrew Glosses in iOS (iPad) App

Hi all! I have transitioned to doing most of my week-to-week original language text study for sermons on my iPad (if I have a paper or something bigger to write, I use the desktop Logos app). For Greek this works wonderfully. I can tap on a word I don't know the definition to, the little quick look up box comes up and gives me the Lemma, Gloss, and

  • What to do with old Logos media (CDs, DVDs, etc.)

Hi everyone! I've been cleaning out my office and have run across my old Logos CDs (from the Libronix era, 2004) and wondering if there's any real reason to keep these around. I've not used any of them since Logos started downloading all of my books automatically with Logos 4. Any thoughts? What have you done with your old installation and resource

  • Script / Shortcut for building a Bible in PBB?

Hello! I'd like to make my Bible translation work into an actual Bible in Logos. It's all very standardized and formatted cleanly in word (superscript numbers before each verse, Word footnotes, etc.). I've played around with the PBB a little bit, but I would like the book to work well, especially being able to use it in Copy Bible Verses and to sync

  • Re: Setting different layout to first Bible reference link?

Yup! That was kind of my backup plan. I might, to avoid the need to jump back to the home screen, just include the reading plan as one of the resources in the default layout so it's right there, ready to go. But I'll play around with it and see what works best for my uses. I'm trying to use a Surface Pro 3 to replace both laptop and iPad. Trying to

  • Re: Logos 6 Windows Home Screen text very large

Sure! I'll attach a screen shot here. You can see the Windows chrome and the top bars in Logos are all the same, appropraite size that I was used to in Logos for Mac (and on Windows before I moved to a Mac a few years ago), but the font size on the home screen elements by comparison is pretty big. Program scaling is 100%. System is a Surface Pro 3 running

  • Setting different layout to first Bible reference link?

Hi everyone! Let me describe what I'd like to do, and you let me know if it will work. I'd like to have Logos open to the home screen where my reading list is on the left side of the screen. Then, once I click on today's reading open to that reference in a simple layout I've created with the Bible text and study Bible notes below it. Currently on a

  • Logos 6 Windows Home Screen text very large

Hi everyone! I just picked up a Surface Pro 3 to try with Windows 10. Thus far I'm impressed. I think it might be able to replaced my Macbook Pro and iPad, especially for Logos work. One odd thing happened, thought. The text on my home screen for Logos is rather big. When I open resources the font sizes are just fine and perfectly useable. It's not

Any update on this? It's still the same as it was at the beginning of the month on my end. Thanks!

Thanks! Do note it was affecting a few different versions of the NA27 on my system. Not sure if they draw from a common source or not, but it might be affecting more than 1 item. Thanks for your time and work! :)

Yeah, that would be nice, but not a huge deal. Getting this Greek Bible bug squashed, though, would be great! :)

  • Re: Logos 6 Greek Bible line spacing

Thanks Mark! The problem isn't the font, it's the Greek Bibles in particular. No matter what font is selected, they don't change the way they display at all with any of the line spacing preferences. For whatever reason those resources seem to be excluded from the universal line spacing settings. Seems like it's just a little glitch somewhere.

  • BUG: Greek Bibles ignoring universal linespacing settings

Hello everyone! Upgraded to Logos 6 last week. Look forward to digging into some of the new features as time allows. I noticed when I first loaded it up that the line spacing on my Greek Bible (NA27 w/ Gramcord) was very tight, while nothing else seemed to be off. I started playing with the line spacing options in preferences and it affects everything

  • Change Translation Abbreviation in Copy Bible Verses

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but is there a way to change what is displayed for the abbreviation for a translation, specifically when it is copied from? For my work, I like to be as clear as can be, and with the changes in the NIV recently, I like to call out exactly what version I'm quoting from. The old NIV has already been

  • Re: Mac Parity Update?

Can I ask a quick question about L5 on Mac? Does it feel any snappier than 4? I always get the sense that Logos 4 doesn't feel like a "real" Mac application for some reason. It just seemed more sluggish than its Windows counterpart to me, even when I upgraded my computer to a Mac from an older PC with an SSD, etc. The "feel" of Logos 5 would be a big
