The 4.0c update indeed fixed this issue! Thanks a bunch! :)

Rosie, my problem is that even when selecting "keep source formatting" it was not keeping the small caps from the Copy Bible Verses window. It does work, however, just copying it straight out of an open Bible resource. This DID work a few months ago before the more recent updates. Hope this indeed fixed in Logos soon!
-
Excellent. I'll just sit tight and hope that it's all fixed then when it gets to a final or even an RC stage. :) Thanks!
-
Oops, one thing I forgot. Just highlighting and copying and pasting right from the book itself, and selecting to use source formatting does exactly what I need. However, the copy Bible Verses windows doesn't seem to do that, even when selecting the "Fully Formatted" option. Thoughts?

Hi everyone! I didn't do much work with the OT during Lent as far as putting together our Sunday bulletins, but now I've got an issue. Whenever I copy and paste in a lesson from the OT, I cannot get the tetragrammaton (LORD) to appear properly formatted in Small Caps. It used to be (in Logos 3 and even in Logos 4 when I got it this past January) that

I hope we haven't forgotten the Windows Mobile users! I would love a finger-friendly version of the Logos app on my HTC Imagio. The Web app is neat in a pinch but it's fairly limited (at least at this point).

I'm not sure if this is a change or not, but now as I scroll through the apparatus, the text marks in the NA27 to the apparatus start to highlight, by only one at a time, as that particular note is the main focus of the apparatus with "links to open panels" VF on. Any ideas, suggestions, or updates on what Logos is doing to fix this? I paid a lot of

Did you just recently install it? It may be still indexing. Check your tray (maybe hidden icons) on the bottom right of the screen to see if the blue Logos icon is there. If it is, let Logos run on the computer overnight to finish that up.
-
Ah, ok, thanks Mark. A lot of the resources I've been using recently that I've had linked are new when I upgraded to Logos 4, so I wasn't quite sure what the culprit was. Thanks for backing me up. ;)
-
Yeah, although, thinking through it, that wouldn't necessarily do what I want either. Am I nuts or is the linking just a bit more sensitive in 4 than in 3?
-
Is there a way to add a collection to a collection? I've got things divided up pretty well, but I'd like to maybe be able to search all of those in one massive collection without having to rebuild them all.
-
Hi everyone! One minor annoyance I've had working in Logos 4 the last week or so. When I have things linked in a set (say my Greek Bible and a few English translations) and I click over to the English from the Greek, if perhaps the English isn't exactly lined up with where I was in the Greek (maybe I had scrolled the Greek 1/2 a verse down or something
-
Maybe you could help us a little bit. Are you doing Greek / Hebrew work or primarily English? Are you looking to study for personal edification or teaching classes / preaching?
-
Libronix 3 is counting your books; Logos 4 is not. The note transfer is coming soon-ish from what I understand.
-
Yes, I believe the media is a DVD, not a CD. You can download it right from logos.com though.

Also, be careful of getting an i7 in a laptop. I was considering it and the more I read, the more people had issues with overheating / insufficent cooling in the box. It seems like the i5, at this point, is the better laptop processor (in terms of heat and power consumption). That said, are you building new or looking at the Dell Outlet? I hadn't ever

Here's a new wrinkle I don't understand. I have the VF on to highlight links to open panels, which as we've established, does nothing for the Apparatus. However, I just selected some text in the apparatus, and the corresponding link(s) in the NA27 w/ apparatus markings suddenly became highlighted. Anyone make heads or tails out of that? Any thought
-
Thanks, Mark! It's good to know that I'm not just crazy, nor that I'm missing something obvious, but that it's something that just needs to be implemented. I hope it is soon. :)
The Phrase Marker Analysis is a Syntax document. It is what is searched when you run a syntax search. You need the Original Languages base package or higher to get this resource.
Hmm, alright. I've got the Scholar's Library, but I bought it in Series X (v. 2.1?), and only just did the cross-grade to Logos 4. I guess
Andersen-Forbes Phrase Marker Analysis
Ah, ok. I guess I don't have that in my collection. Might have to look into getting it, though. It looks handy! Do you know what resources or collection I would need to purchase to add it? Is it launched via the "Syntax Search"? I don't have that option either.
