  • Re: Prioritising resources on iPad

In the passage guide it would be nice for the iPad app to apply the same priorities to the commentaries as the windows version does.

  • Re: Prioritising resources on iPad

I was assuming/hoping that the prioritisation I had done in the Windows version would show up in the iPad one. Failing that, I would like to prioritise the resources on the iPad itself if possible. Hope that makes sense.

  • Prioritising resources on iPad

Evening all, The ability to prioritise resources on Logos in Windows does not appear to available in the iPad app. Is this correct. Thanks.

  • Recognising previous Gold collection

Hi, I had the L4 Gold collection and bought the starter version for L5, thinking that was the way to upgrade the engine at minimum cost. Now, the web site doesn't seem to recognise the original Gold, just the L5 starter. It also appears that upgrading to L5 Gold will only give a handfull of books but will cost over $400. I don't get it; shouldn't moving

  • Reading plan hyperlink hesitant

The reading plan links on the home page of the Logos program require 2 clicks before they take you to the passage listed. I wonder if this is a tiny glitch or if there is a reason for it. It's hardly an "issue" but curiosity is getting the better of me! Thanks, John.

  • Re: WBC Micah-Malachi revised

I'm interested in the extent of revision too, particularly as it's the same author.

  • Re: Can't erase highlighting

Bingo, it's to do with visual filters; specifically linked notes. Only 2 out of many are doing it, so I can play around with the, and see what sets it off. Thanks Heaps!

  • Can't erase highlighting

This is weird; I can highlight and erase without drama, except for a couple of spots in the ESV that are highlighted and won't erase. Even using the ctrl-shift-k shortcut. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

  • Re: Blurry text

I have after much fiddling that the text can be significant improved by adjusting the brightness of my screen!!!!!!?? It's easier on the eyes too. Duh. I've gone back to the default sans serif and have blown it up a little, but it is much more readable than before. John

Well, I'm lost. I've gained speed at the expense of clarity. There's probably a sermon in that. Bye.

  • Re: Blurry text

I should have read the links on the first reply. It appears to be a Microsoft .NET problem. W7 uses .NET 4 and Logos has issues with it. Explains why my XP machine (which uses .NET 3.5) is so much clearer. So, do I blow away W7 and use XP, or try to dual boot? Fun.

  • Re: Blurry text

I went back to my previous laptop which still has Logos on it, and it perfectly readable. It's an XP machine, the new one has Windows 7. I'm assuming it's an OS issue, rather than a Logos one for now. Thanks for your replies.

  • Blurry text

I've recently installed Logos on a new laptop but can't seem to get the text to be clear. Other programs are OK. If the text in Logos was as clear as that in this post, it would be beautiful. Thanks.

  • Re: Logos 4: Read Your Books in Column Format

I prefer this format too. Is it possible to make this a default method of displaying resources?

  • Re: Greek font not displaying correctly

Thanks for the reply. It's not exactly urgent, but it would be nice if it worked. I will exercise patience and wait for the Android version of Logos. Ciao.

  • Greek font not displaying correctly

Hi All, When accessing biblia.com on my HTC phone, the Greek text has a lot of little squares throughout. This was on the android browser. A similar problem occurs using Firefox on the phone as well. Thanks, John

  • Re: Word Biblical Commentary on CD is not detected by Logos 4

Hi Deborah, I fired up Logos 4 this morning (afternoon to you!) and it started downloading WBC. I'd say you've fixed it. I was just working how to phone international, too. Thanks heaps, and thanks to the others who posted help as well. John

  • Word Biblical Commentary on CD is not detected by Logos 4

Evening All, I have Logos 4 functioning just fine. Bought a CD with WBC on it, expecting Logos 4 to find it when I put in in the CD drive. It didn't, and I tried the "Scan Optical Media" command in Logos 4 but it didn't recognise the command. I then loaded the CD contents by installing the Libronix/Logos 3 software that came with it. Logos 4 still no

  • Re: Unhidden resources are not being downloaded and reinstalled

Automatically download updates is set to yes. I'm pretty sure Logos was not indexing at the time. The resource was "The Gospel according to Luke" by Bob Utley. Thanks, John
