Hey Adam Borries, so if I read you right anyone who wants to come on the forums and claim to be a Christian is beyond rebuke? So if someone said they were Islam or Hindu but defined themselves as Christian we are wrong to say they are wrong? Just want clarity.
Matthew, the way that question is framed, it's almost

Hey, everyone: GOOD JOB! Thanks for steering this back to gracious and productive conversation. This thread was reported a couple of times over the weekend. I have to admit, I cringed a little as I clicked through, fully expecting to have to lock the thread. Instead, I'm reminded what a wonderful community we have.
For the forums

Thanks for the question, David. We're not completely abandoning that idea, but there are some challenges to syncing between two different platforms that don't both have all the same features. Here are some of the things we have to consider. What should the web app do if your desktop layout includes: tools that aren't supported on the web app? more than

Hello everyone, We are releasing an update to the web app today that changes the way that panel information is encoded in the URL. That is, the resources and tools you have open are encoded in all the random-looking stuff at the end of a link like this: https://app.logos.com/books/LLS%3ANIV2011/references/bible%2Bniv.1.2.2?tile=left&zzls=2eMKcTcKNw4EKw4IwEER

Mattillo, it looks like you are using "limited view." Click on your profile picture on the upper right, and select "Disable limited view mode." Most mobile devices only support "limited view."

Thanks for bumping this, Rosie. There is a long list of things we are working on in the web app, and this hasn't been near the top. But we'll take a look to see if this is a quick win.

1. This is pretty strong language for being disappointed in a free trial. This is not appropriate to these forums: Stop this right now. 2. The resources in your screenshot are not from the Verbum Cloud trial subscription. They are from the Perseus Classics Collection, which you got for free 6 years ago. The subscription resources should no longer be

Let's leave it at that, please.

This is as designed. The More link opens the Help article when offline, or when it is the only article available. The video thumbnail and More link both link to the online support article when a more extensive introductory article has been written.

PSA: This thread was reported for violating forum guidelines for "theological dispute." I disagree; let me explain why. This is not a theological dispute, because it's not debating the merits of one theological system over another. Rather, this is a discussion of an author-- in particular, attempting to clarify the doctrinal stance of the author. As

Hi, Nathan, The Logos web app doesn't have any built-in print or export functionality yet (and may not for a long time; it's not something that people ask for often). On a Chromebook, your best option is probably to copy and paste the content of the workflow to a Google Doc. I tested this in Chrome on a MacBook, and it seems to handle it pretty well

Thank you. We thought it would be a useful improvement, which no one (that I know of) was really asking for; so it's good to have affirmation that we are on the right track.

Dave, short answer: no, at least not in the near future. We thought this would be a quick-win improvement, which turned out to be harder than we thought. Sometimes we experiment, and things don't work out; usually, those experiments never ship to beta, but this was an exception due to the short beta cycle, and a mis-estimate on our part about how hard

Chrisser, you're supposed to ask for any resources that support this idea .... forum guidance prohibits theology-fun. The key is to make the request as controversial as possible, while assuring readers 'just resources, no arguing'. Then, usually an FL guy will appear after 3 pages of excitement. [/quote

Hi, MJ. I agree that we overload the term "topic" in the software, and it's important be consistent in distinguishing between the various datasets. In this case, however, the naming is intentional. Consider the workflow template a kind of resource, in the broadest sense of the term. It utilizes the Preaching Themes dataset as the key; that becomes obvious

It sounds like there might be several different issues mentioned in this thread. Slow performance when opening the Notes tools and/or applying a highlight to resource text. We have investigated this several times, but it seems to vary widely from user to user. One factor might be the total number of notes you have; if you are experiencing slowness with

Hey, everyone. I'm just dropping in after this thread was reported. I'll just say a couple things: First, I wouldn't consider the OP to be in violation of guideline 4d, "advertise yourself...". I suppose the rule could be interpreted that way in the strictest sense; but the guiding principle is "no self-promotion," and I don't think linking to an alternate
Logos is sending out a return label. They offered to reimburse the difference on the sale if I had wanted to keep the book. They were clear that this was a simple misunderstanding and will have their marketing team look over the whole affair and I even invited them to see the comments here as many of you had good ideas. It was Logos

Logos ebooks have sales tax as well.
Not everywhere. Yet...
FYI, the law requires that we charge sales tax in states where we physically have employees.
