• What volunteer roles do you have at your church?

We are building a list of typical volunteer roles at a church -- the roles for which you need to regularly schedule people. ("Each week we need two greeters, four ushers, an organist, a tuba player, a worship leader, four nursery volunteers....") We are creating a related list of skills you might want to track within your congregation, whether spiritual

Our basic search reflects a different era, when searches were precise and searchers (often) knew boolean logic... Google has taught us all to just 'ask the Internet', and we need to adapt, while keeping our specialized capabilities for the scenarios where they make sense. (Google can't find cultural concepts or words by morphology...) One of the biggest

  • Re: Win $100 Logos credit...

One assumption I have is that people would like to be 'freed from the land-line'... and that churches are in a weird middle-ground of needing 'a business phone system' (the ability to transfer calls to various people with different responsibilities) but, unless large, most of their team isn't on-site all the time, and they don't have the budget for

  • Re: Wow 7 Pages!

We chose this forum software almost a decade ago... a primary motivator was the ability to use existing Logos.com user accounts, which wasn't something we could do with all the third-party platforms. (As well as a bias towards source-available solutions for .NET, since we use that for all our web coding. We didn't want to have to integrate a new tech

  • Win $100 Logos credit...

I'm doing research on church operations. Please help me by answering these short surveys. Everyone who does, and enters their email address at the end, will be entered into a drawing for a $100 credit at Logos.com. (We'll have three winners, chosen in a week.) Answering both surveys puts you in the drawing twice. They are short, one-page surveys. Church
I'm undecided on Connect Essentials. But now it's gone?
No, all the other Faithlife Connect configurations are still there. We just added a new Faithlife Connect Essentials (No Library) option for Logos Now customers, and those who prefer to own their library.
You are not good at TV - you won't be - you don't have enough money to be good at that.
The point of Faithlife TV isn't to beat Netflix or Amazon... it is to serve our customers in a unique way. Faithlife TV isn't yet what it will be. For one thing, the Christian content library is just beginning, and as it grows it

  • Announcement: Logos Now to continue at same price (with new name)

I am sorry for how we communicated the Logos Now / Faithlife Connect change. This was my fault, not the team's. We have been listening to your feedback and you have caused us to change our plan. The bottom line: We are reversing this change, and you do not have to do anything. You will be automatically returned to the situation as of two weeks ago,
Bob implies that he can't stay in business with the Logos Now model.
I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough... we're not in danger of going out of business. The Logos Now model wasn't working on its own, but one of the reasons it wasn't working was that so few base package users chose to use that model. (For all the sound
