  • Logos Now and Faithlife Connect: The Why

Background Facts (This is context, not the explanation for Faithlife Connect; the explanation follows.) The software world is moving to subscription products accessed from any device anywhere via the cloud. If we were to start new today, we would probably be a subscription-only product. New users are asking for, and expect, a subscription offering.

(I just called Keith to discuss his particular situation, but wanted to reply here so others can see.) We've tried to take particular care of our best customers; Logos Now subscribers should have received (by end of today -- 500 of the emails got backed up) special offers that address the changes, ranging from credit with which to buy a feature set

  • Re: BUG: "My Faithlife" Spam

I'm sorry for the frustration. You are correct that you should only see things from people you have a closer relationship to; early on we made people "Members" of groups by default instead of "Followers". Large, public groups like "Faithlife Mobile Apps Beta" should be Follower-by-default, which would let you use the group but not cause the 'co-member

You should be able to 'Follow' the presentation (not Control) via the Proclaim remote app on iOS or Android, and then AirPlay or Chromecast that to a screen.

We've changed the default font in most major releases; Athelas was several revisions back, and this year our license for embedding it ended. You can still install and use it if you purchase a license, but our stats showed almost all users were using Skolar or other fonts. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. • Re: Trying to understand the Proclaim sizing algorithm

In simple terms, the font size is 'the maximum size.' Proclaim will try to fit the text in the box, but will never make it larger than the maximum size. The exception is Sermon and Bible slides, that can spread the content over multiple slides automatically; there it works the same but also interacts with paragraph boundaries, etc.
