• Please have page-up/down and home work in clippings

Logos 8.2.0.0015 Windows 10 I've been spending time rearranging my clippings and found that page-up/down nor ctl-home/end work do not work. I hope this is on the to-do list.

  • Some things that would make clippings export more useful

Put Tags at the top of each clipping, not the bottom. The latest version of Logos 8 does a nice job of automatically putting a Scripture reference as the tag, which I find very helpful, but when I export it, it seems that it makes more sense to put all the tags at the top of each entry. Allow use of a bibliography format putting all that information
That little caret beside the name of the notebook opens a dropdown where you can select/move the note into a new notebook—or no notebook—as you prefer.
Thanks for the explanation. Would have never gotten that. I tried using this drop-down to put a number of notes in a notebook, but when I went back to

  • How do I "move" a note into a notebook in Logos 8

I want notebooks for topics and Bible texts that I work on for sermons etc. For example I have a notebook for communion to keep communion thoughts in. I understand that I can use tags, but they are an added step that I often find a nuisance distraction. My understanding is that if I have that notebook open, then when I create a note it will go into
The poor design, in my opinion, is the connection between notes and highlights.
Agreed. I burned myself with that one and shrunk back. I'm now wary of doing some things in this area. I can accept there is commonality that makes treating notes and highlights the same behind the surface but I'm too afraid now to even
If you want to explore further, try searching for {Headword cherub} in your collection.
Now that worked quite nicely. Thanks.

  • Re: Why is "Parallel Resources" list and collection useless at accessing all my Bible Dictionaries?

The topic was Cherub. You were right. I forgot that the list "Bible Dictionaries, Encyclopedias and Lists" is another one of my collections. So It seems you're saying that only Bible dictionaries that have the same topic will show up. I checked. Out of my 11 dictionaries, 9 have Cherub or Cherubim and all go to that topic when I open them from my collections

  • Why is "Parallel Resources" list and collection useless at accessing all my Bible Dictionaries?

If I bring up Tyndale Bible Dictionary and click the parallel resource icon, the only other resource available is the Eerdman's Bible Dictionary. This is not useful. I have a collection, "Dictionaries-Bible" with 11 resources, all of them are similarly-constructed Bible Dictionaries including Tyndale. I've checked to show the collection in parallel

  • Improvements to clippings

In revisiting the use of clippings I've noticed several quirks that have reduced its usefulness. If I highlight a text from a Bible and save it to a clipping the clipping does not contain the full reference. It contains the name of the Bible and the chapter the clipping came from but not the book of the Bible it came from. That's very unhandy. Clipping
However, see this post for a possible workaround:
Very helpful. Do you know of a way to assign a tag to more than one clipping at the same time? Also I've noticed that sometimes a tag is automatically added. Do you know where that comes from?

  • Is there a way to sort clippings?

Can clippings be sorted by resource and or the page in the resource they appear on?

  • Does Logos have an e-reader app?

I prefer to read many books in my Kindle. I'd buy a tablet or other mobile device if I could read Logos format books in a light-weight reader app. I won't use the Logos mobile app anymore because whenever I've tried it on my phone it crashes, uses too much memory and ruins my phone experience. I don"t need all the linking, though pop-up scripture text
