• Re: Text Comparison tool shows too many verses

I've appreciated the comments on my original post. I've learned that F7 will quickly compare highlighted verses in my top bibles and the the Milestone search will also compare verses across a collection. However my initial complaint is still valid and unanswered by Logos and needs to be addressed. Someone has made a boo-boo. I should not be forced to
Not sure how you observe that with the Tool, as opposed to using F7.
I put a link in the top bar of the window to open the TC tool. It's the two horizontal arrows in this shot.
Click outside the drop-down box.
Hmm. I was suspecting that, but it seemed like unusual way to confirm a selection

If I just open the TC tool it will only show one verse, the top verse in my active Bible pane. If I type a verse into the reference box in the TC tool, say 1 Jn 3:12, it will compare ALL of 1 John which will take a LONG time if I am comparing all my English Bibles. This is not user-friendly behavior. Further the selection of reference to compare has

  • Text Comparison tool shows too many verses

I'm using version 7.14.1.1124. I've always found the Text Comparison tool very useful, but it no longer works well. Example: I put in a reference of 1 John 3:11. The tool shows that in the reference box, but insists on showing that verse plus ALL the rest of 1 John in the comparison. At times I'm wanting to look at how all my English bibles translate

I wonder if the App designers are trying to put too much into it. Is the app is trying to update my resource list and get a lot of info from Logos in the background, rather than when I ask for it? For my use, Perhaps on a tablet people want an app to act more like the full blown Logos program, but for my use, I just want something that does opens very

  • Android app not worth using

I had uninstalled the Logos app from my previous Android phone some time ago because it took too much memory. I just bought a better phone, an LG Destiny with enough memory to install Logos, and was looking forward to being able to use it again. However the app takes minutes to open, bring up a bible, go to a reference and scroll the text a bit. It

  • How do I change the bible used for pop-up references?

When I hover over a Bible reference there is a pop-up that displays the text of the reference. In the latest versions of Logos (7+), that Pop-up uses some version of Logos' own Bible which shows complex sentence analysis rather than just the simple text. In addition when I click on that pop-up a new tab opens to the High Definition New Testament (ESV

My goal was to get a list of references to paste in a document. I don't see that as an option. Logos only prints a copy of the search results as a table.

  • Numerous problems

I've used Logos since it first came out. I'm finding myself wishing for my paper books. You've made Bible Word Study worse. In the past I could do a Greek word study and get a list of all the places it was used. Now it only lists a subset depending on the portion of the torus you highlight. Even then I can't save that as a passage list. I can't even
