These are some of the very best. I would also suggest books on slavery and its backlash. I'll throw in two I consider the best at the end.
Thanks for the recommendations from everyone so far. I would love to see as many of these resources as possible make it into Logos. What a timely issue which we all should understand
Good point. I don't have Bib Sac and I guess the dynamic price mechanism doesn't catch this possibility. P.S. During the sale it's cheaper to buy individual volumes of the Vital Issues series even if you need the entire set.
How would I go about searching for these articles in the journals?

  • Re: Where is God?

I guess I got confused by the fact that the email clearly has the free book cover correct, but the title incorrect next to it.

  • Where is God?

I got an email today advertising John Lennox audio on Where is God in a Coronavirus world . The email said we can get this free resource today. But it is not free. It is 50% off. Is there an explanation? The email was entitled "A free book Michael Horton calls “a gem”"

Thanks, Mattillo. I wonder how this affects the Biblical Greek 101 course. Would the links to that course continue to point to the old edition? I wish FL would simply replace the old edition with this new one.

I take Mick's question to mean that he is interested in what commentaries underlie the series? It is a great series. Is there a list of the commentaries used for the series and how they were picked?

  • Re: Logos Reader

What adds to the confusion is that I thought e-books were originally supposed to be like kindle books. So really, I suspect another marketing difficulty. Thankfully, if they strategize wisely and have someone write clearly, they still at the moment have time to avoid a marketing blunder.
From my point of view this is a positive development. I often need to read a book and end up buying a Kindle or dead-tree edition because it’s either not on Logos’ horizon or stuck in pre-pub purgatory. For me, ebooks don’t normally work as I do need page numbers and footnotes so I can cite accurately. Bringing

How will we know what resource is a research resource or a reader resource?
The page on this issue is vague, because it is ''marketing-written''.
We don't plan to continue to offer it as a paid subscription after the free access expires. At this point we are just trying to find a way to help churches get resources to their members while they cannot gather together in person.
That is very kind. Thank you!
