• Re: Erdmans Catholic Thought Collection - Seconbd Thoughts

Thanks for the reply, Louis. I'm interested in all the volumes except those mentioned. After much thought I cancelled my order even though I had secured the original pre-pub pricing (a little below the current offering). I thought it was a little too high for just the ten volumes I would like to have. Maybe someday those will be offered individually

  • Re: Need book recommendations on the priesthood

I'm not a priest but have several priest friends and have also read some. Here are a few I could suggest. Not in Verbum: He Leadeth Me Fr. Cizeck's story - must read for any priest. The Priest Is Not His Own Fulton Sheen - another must read. The Priesthood Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI (maybe several of Benedict's works on the liturgy would be welcome

  • Re: Upgrade AppleTV Question

I have a follow-up question ... Are the Mobile Ed courses loaded onto the AppleTV? Or are they streamed from the library on my desktop computer? Or maybe some other arrangement?
There's been a lot of confusion about this ...
I have some additional confusion. I was pretty sure I have pre-ordered this some time ago so clicked on product page link to check. The "Bid Now" button is not gray out. So I clicked on it to make sure I had a bid in and the system told me that I already had a bid

  • Verbum Now Subscription Question

Is there a way I can check on my Verbum Now subscription status? I can't remember if I have auto-renew or not and the specific date my current subscript expires (sometime this month, I believe). I tried clicking around in my account settings but I'm not having any luck.

  • Erdmans Catholic Thought Collection - Seconbd Thoughts

Louis and Brody, I'm thinking about cancelling my long standing order (10/16/2914) for the subject collection. I pre-ordered back then at $197.95. It is a $19 discount from the current price, ready to ship on May 18. I am have some second thoughts. I always support the Verbum offerings, as evident from my purchase history. My in-place orders on future

Hmmm. I have not ever received an e-mail like that. I wonder if contacting Customer Support directly and asking about the e-mail would shed any light?

  • Re: Resources with Temorary Licenses Question

Something just occurred to me as we were talking ... These are not books from publishers in the traditional Logos/Verbum sense. These are features/capabilities with very specific content built by Faithlife (Interactive Media). Now I'm thinking that they are part of the Now subscription (like you said) and as long as I have that subscription active I

I'm away from my home computer, but I'll check when I get home this afternoon. I have updates set to automatic so I'm thinking I have what ever the most current, public (not beta) version of the engine. I'll let you know. That said, I'm not unhappy about the resources. I like the ones I've used. Just curious about the temporary status of the license

  • Re: Resources with Temorary Licenses Question

One resource indicates it was last updated in my library on January 26, another February 8, a couple of others on March 21, etc. Doesn't this mean that I've had them since those dates shown? (I thought temporary Now resources went away after the next cycle.)
Yes, Mobile Ed: NT307 Archaeology and the New Testament is part of May's Logos Now preview resources. Logos Now/Cloud members get access to the course, as well as two books ( The Book of Acts in the Setting of Hellenistic History and Near Eastern Archaeology: A Reader, 2nd ed.) for the month.
