"Complete" does not equal "every." Where, then, is the LSJ? Where is BDF? How about Smyth Grammar? I could go on. BDAG is great. It is not essential. There are other quality lexicons included in the Original Languges or Scholar's Gold libraries.

If these volumes are of the same quality as the IVP NT Dictionaries, they will be awesome. I have already ordered!

A. Deismann was a scholar who argued that the New Testament was written in a vernacular Greek, that is, the language spoken by the common people. To that end, he investigated papryri, inscriptions, etc. to gain insight into the common usage of Greek Words. I am not familiar with this particular work, but I expect that it will be interesting and certainly

Joe: That works for the standard Pre-Pub where Logos sets the price but in Community Pricing the number of bidders required will be determined by an average bid price, e.g., if the production cost is $1,000 this can be covered by 1 bidder offering to pay $1,000 or 1000 bidders offering to pay $1. But I'm still confused by precisely how it works.

This thread sickens me. Remember it's Christmas, a day for all Christians to celebrate.

Very nice. Thank you.

I'm sure it's a fine book and all but the disappointment is that we were hoping for a 'boffo' offer like the Yale Anchor Bible commentary set for $199.00.

There are books included which are "gathering interest" in the pre-pubs. These include the Holman Reference Collection and some others (sorry, I can't remember them now). These books are actually provided now (real live versions). No waiting!

I noticed that as well. Also the Holman Reference Collection.

Yes, I think its a bug. Try as I might with re-prioritizing, etc., I can't get any results from the Greek OT Pseudepigraphia.
-
Chris: Below (but still prioritized). I wouldn't want to eliminate one of the others (Philo? , Josephus?). I'd like the word study to include all NT and quasi-NT Greek resources. Brad

A Greek lemma Bible Word Study returns results from the New Testament, the LXX, the Apostolic Fathers, Philo, and Josephus. Missing are any results from the Old Testament Greek Pseudepigraphia. Is this a bug or a feature? Thanks.

Not the best, but there is: "An Introduction to Ecclesiastical Latin." http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/INTROECCLAT This old Classics student has long wished for more Latin support. The usefullness of the "Oxford Latin Dictionary" is greatly limited by a lack of any work with Latin morphological tagging.

Thanks for the quick response! This is exactly what I was looking for. Brad

I have the Original Languages library. I'm considering an upgrade. I notice that Scholars library (and higher) says it includes Swete's "Septuagint." I'm am not aware of such a title. This must be Swete's "Introduction to the Old Testament in Greek" which is currently in pre-pub and is a well regarded tome on the Septuagint. Can some kind soul (who
