I am looking forward to this. My search skills have been stuck on "basic" since Logos 4.0.
-
I bid $100.00. I hope it one day closes much lower.

[quote user="Michael Sullivan"] I am not purchasing it simply because the state I live in (Wisconsin) gives me free online access to a more complete Britannica through our library system. There are other states that do this too, but not all of them. (You can use google to see if your state or provincial Library system offers the same access.) I know

I dropped the $99 pre-pub long ago. I stopped following the discussion. Have my concerns ever been answered? 1. Abridged. How much? 2. 2015 edition. Updates? How often? How much?

"MJ" -- you do us all a great service.

This has been a very interesting discussion. In the active forum community, I'm probably a fairly "light" user: not many posts and only 4,006 non-Perseus resources. But I do have a M.A. in Theology from a Catholic seminary. I use the Verbum daily for my own study. It seems that Faithlife/Logos/Verbum has lost its focus. Verbum is the ignored step child

I'm really enjoying the Syntopicon. With more and more linkage, it could become a premier Noet selling point. I'm also happy finally to have Plotinus, though it could use some work.

Shipped.
-
Probably worth it just for the syntopicon and the promised linkage.
-
This is a sad day.

Brown and Fitzmyer are always excellent (once you understand their limitations, see Verbum Domini )
-
Thank you.

Anyone have an idea how long this sale will last?

I bought a Kindle Paper White to use the "send to kindle" feature. This feature makes reading books from my logos library much more pleasurable. I'm happy with the Kindle and this new feature works well
-
Fitzmyer's 2 volumes on Luke in the Anchor Yale Bible Commentary.
-
Thanks for the update. I wondered if I had missed it.

I preordered at the $99 price. I cancelled Monday night after I saw the one screenshot. It was not even close to what I expected. I thought this was to be a flagship product for Noet. I simply cannot believe they let this one through.
