Thought I would upload some logs for this issue. Jim 5468.Logos Log Files.zip

I have had this issue for the past couple of betas. Upon starting L4 the "Logos is preparing your library" icon pops up in the notification area. It doesn't start indexing, it just pops up and then goes away. I do have LDLS 3 installed on the same computer with L4 beta. Jim

Would hope to see Sermon Add-In and Illustrations in PG soon too.

Can we find out if there are any new features? If it is just bug fixes, I will wait til monday. Jim

I am with you on missing the Illustrations on the Passage Guide. I have been using a couple of work arounds that take a little more time, but seems to get me more hits than L3 passage guide. 1. Created a Illustrations Collection - subject:illustration OR title:illustration 2. Add the Illustrations Collection to Passage Guide. This gets me illustrations

Confirming "Parallel Resource" bug squashed!!! Thanks! Jim

Bradley, Do ya want some more log files? I think I could get ya a lot more, as I can crash my L4bB4 at will now ;) Jim
-
Opening DBL Greek causes the crash on my machine. And Parallel Resources seems to be the function that crashes it. Jim

I keep getting a crash. It seemed to be with the syncing, but I have gotten it with a couple of times while working offline. Attaching log files. Jim 2577.Logos Log Files.zip

With all of the CBD'ers in withdrawal... I am writing a Beta Testers Anonymous Manual and leading an oline support group. Anyone wanna beta test the manual and support group for me? The manual will be in L4 format of course.
(We're closed for Christmas, and many team members are taking vacation all next week.) You should see a 4.0b Beta 1 with cool new stuff early in January.
WHAT!!! And I was taking next week off so I would have time to beta test.... guess I'll have to do something else with my time ;) Actually, gonna take the family
Thanks for the quick answer! Yes, I tried this several times and could not get it to work. The only thing I see that may cause a problem is the Libronix is stored under program files and my logos is in another directory (I chose the download option when I purchased it and this is where the file save defaulted to.[/quote

David, Have you synced your Libronix 3 licenses? That should get your resources copied over and unlocked in Logos 4. You can sync your licenses on the under the menu: Tools>Library Management>Synchronize Licenses After you sync your licenses, then open up Logos 4 and give it a couple of minutes to sync and update.
Jim, Merry Christmas to you as well, and may you receive it before then. A great resource. It may be fatigue among the elves that is to blame.
I am guessing you may be right. With the beta and late hours after release... oh and then add the 12 days of Christmas sales to keep up with... I am thinking that all little

Curious... I ordered The Essential IVP Reference Collection on Day 9... December 17 at 6:14 AM... maybe too much detail ;) Has anyone gotten their order yet? I can usually get a tracking number on the "My Orders" page under my account. It shows it ordered but no shipping info. A Very Merry Christmas to all!!!! Jim

I hope he gets as much use out of his license and "new car" as I have from my Logos over the years Well maybe a decent used car for the new driver.... Thanks for the continued progress and updates and resources... I have almost replaced my bookshelves with my laptop thanks to Logos... My pastor laughs at me and my over 2,000 volume library in the back

Was just shredding old tax returns. Found my Logos Research Systems Invoice for Logos 1.6 on a 3.5 floppy disk dated 12/04/93. Not gonna tell ya how much I paid for it. Think I will keep the Invoice for posterity sake. From 1.6 to 4.0a.... I have been a satisfied customer! Thanks Logos! Jim
