Thanks, that was the only solution I had found; but like you said "not elegant."

Is there a way to view a page count for books in L5 (obviously those that come from print and have pagination)? I've looked at the info tab and don't see this. I'm just looking for a quick way to evaluate how long it would take me to read any given resource.

I convinced a friend to try Faithlife so he created an account and downloaded the app onto his android phone. He does not have a Logos package. for some reason reading plans will not show up on his app. We are doing a group reading plan and it doesnt show up. However, the option to create reading plans does not show up either. I tried reinstalling the

Thank you. I was hovering over each color rather than the palette heading.

I seem to have forgotten how to change the note file my highlights get sent to. At some point I remember setting it to "most recently used note file," but now I can't remember how to change it back. Can someone remind me?

Thanks everyone. I haven't had much time to peruse the forums so recently so I was unaware that there was a contract dispute with moody.

I noticed that a few items on my wishlist are no longer available, including Steve Green's Midi Hymnal and Norman Wirght's "Premarital Counseling Handbook." Will these resources ever become available again?

Celebration of Discipline--Richard Foster Knowledge of the Holy--A.W. Tozer (I don't know why this isn't in the Tozer collection) Foxe's Book of Martyrs (Searched Logos.com for this a few days ago and was very surprised not to find it). Christian Counseling material from the integrationist perspective.

When creating custom passage guides I see that Biblical People, Places, and Things are still the available sections rather than an all inclusive Bible Facts section. Will this be changed in the release process of L5 and if so, will custom Passage Guides need to be redone? Not a big deal if they do, just a curious question.

No problems at all and much faster performance on my Windows 8 machine. Most of the complaints I have seen have been due to minor bugs, leaning curve questions, and dissatisfaction of not having a minimal crossgrade available at launch.

Had the same issue with timeline and Bible sense lexicon. Just let it finish indexing, reboot, and you should be good to go.

Thanks Andrew. Glad to see the team is already looking at making this tool even better.

I struggle to offer a helpful alternative. Maybe somethhing like Biblical Events, followed by Israel/middleEast events, followed by world events. Even that seems insufficient though. Hopefully, the brilliant minds in Bellingham will come up with something.

Could someone explain the layout of the timeline? I'm trying to figure out a rhyme or reason for the order from top to bottom. Is this laid out in some sort of relevant pattern or is it random?
-
Now I'm embarrassed for posting this in the first place. Closed and rebooted L5 twice and it took 13 seconds and 12 seconds. I hereby change the title of this post to L5 is fast. . . with no exceptions!
-
Just for fun I ran a speed test with a server in Bellingham, WA and got even better speeds that I did locally.
-
I think the speed of my internet connection may be the issue. My office is in an executive center with multiple companies using a common T1 and it and speeds can very greatly during the day. I do not boot to the Homepage (haven't since Camp Logos). I boot with about 8-10 resources open. I bought a new laptop 2 weeks ago so SSD is out of the question

Specs are listed in my signature. I recently bought a new laptop primarily for Logos. Processor is boosted from 2.4 ghz to 3.2 and I have 8gb of RAM and 1GB of video RAM.
-
I am very happy with the performance of L5. However, it takes about a minute to fully boot up. Is this about what others are experiencing. I have around 2800 resources.

Thanks, I was not aware of the CTRL+F. That gives me what I need.
