Rob, Tried to send but gmail kicked it back. I sent to: rpavich@gmail.com and got this unfriendly notice- "Our system detected an illegal attachment on your message" Terry sDg

The term "Sentence Diagramming" covers a wide array of imposters these days. The Reed/Kellogg method of diagramming a sentence is the "original" more difficult and in my opinion by far the best. I learned the R/K method of diagramming as a boy in the '50's and am still refining my skills. I've diagrammed (in Greek) Galatians, Jude and 1,2 Thessalonians

Some may remember a Greek manual I've been working on for some time. With each revision I've made the booklet available to my Logos brothers and sisters. I've posted the latest revision in a PDF format in the files forum. Since I've been working on this for a number of years there may be some fonts that are outdated and may not be properly viewed. If

I just found this out by mistake- Highlight any word in your diagram. Now, press the arrow keys on your keyboard and the word will move the direction of the arrow! Neat, huh? Terry Cook sDg

Kevin wrote: "Logos just asked for examples of diagram to be emailed to them." I haven't seen that anywhere Kevin, can you point me in the right direction? Terry sDg

I have the 3 volume print version published by Banner of Truth which I read about 10 years ago. It's a truly wonderful resource and I highly recommend this book. Terry Cook sDg

I have created a .LBXSDG (diagram) file for James 1 that I am attempting to attach from my computer to the forum. The file is a diagramming file exactly like other diagramming files I've posted b4. However, today I get a message that thid file type is invalid. Can anyone help? Terry Cook sDg

Good to see you can use Wikipedia. By "original" I by no means meant to imply "first" as if only Alonzo Reed and Brainerd Kellogg had thought of diagramming sentences; few things can be directly pointed to as the very first . Others may have developed systems but none were as successful as R/K and that cannot be disputed. The R/K system was adopted

0216.JAMES 2.zip In case anyone of interested I have diagrammed James chapter 2 using the Reed Kellogg method of "stick" diagramming. Of course the diagramming methodology has been somewhat altered by me to accomodate my personal ideas on what makes a "good" diagram AND, of course R/K did not intend for their methodolgy to be used on another language

There have been more replies than expected so I have attached two zip files to this post. Remember these were built using L3. You have to add them to your L3 and then import them into L4. Should you have any problems let me know. Comments and suggestions are appreciated. Terry sDg 4186.JAMES 3-2.zip 4405.JAMES 4-2.zip

Thanks, but never mind. I "found" the resources! I had read the footnote saying the "missing" resources were integrated into the corsponding resource I just hadn't figured out how to make them show. I have since done so. Terry sDg

I'm trying to convert from L3 to L4. I've been working on it for about a month. I've been watching videos and reading until my eyes are crossed. I started in '98 with a basic Logos product and have stuck with the folks in Washington all along. L3 was very good but admittedly it needed some tweaks. Frankly, I don't like L4, so far . It's not nearly as

One thing I noticed was that I used to be able to go to a page for a particular book/resource and download the resource from that page. That feature is no longer on the 3-4 random pages I checked. Doesn't sound like a big deal maybe but I used to make a back-up on an external HD via the resource page. Terry Cook sDg

Greetings, I have yet to master the advanced searches Logos software has despite being a user for nearly 12 years! I'm sure I'd be an expert if I practiced but I only use the more unique search features about twice a year. I'd like to find how often a pronoun occurs with an article preceding it, at the most, two words between. I'm not sure whether a

I've lost my mind! And only 58 :-) I was looking at John Piper's face on FB and thought I clicked that icon but instead clicked a Logos icon. Pardon me. Terry sDg
