Dr Boice read this passage outloud at a Bible conference in Cincinnati about 10 or 12 years ago. I didn't have the book at that time but quickly did. The 3-vol dead tree version was first printed in '86 by the Banner of Truth. The modern language version is superior....... IMHO. Terry sDg

Kevin and Robert- thanks for trying. I did get most of the search I was looking for using Robert's idea of morph search. I'm guessing there's an extra step or two and I could get the exact search I am looking for? Hmm. Also, I noticed Robert's view was from L4 and I'm using L3 for this search. I CAN use L4 if needed but I'm so used to L3 I use it nearly

I don't think the other brothers addressed part of your question which I understand to be: "Why the price difference ($300 Logos prepub vs. $130 Wordsearch prepub)?" I have asked similar questions myself over the years. In my opnion Logos is the most expensive of all the Bible programs. Additionally, they offer far fewer "free" resources than many if

Hmm, this may be some type of user error? I click the "paper clip" used for attaching something and my only choice is "media." So, I experimented and "attached" a jpeg and it downoaded just fine but the zip file does nothing. So, something's wrong I just don't know what! Terry sDg

  • Searching the Greek text for a certain construction

What method, if any, would be best to determine how many times a preposition occurs with an adjective as it's object in the GNT? One possible example is 2Timothy 2:16- EPI PLEION. Terry Cook sDg

Thanks Rick. I think you'll agree 733 prepositional phrases with an ADJECTIVE as it's object is probably too high of a number. The 2Timothy passage I cited is the first time I THINK I've come across the construction and that's why it struck me as odd and that's why I've posted my question. Maybe it's a regular occurrence? "point people to other places that sell Logos-compatible products" The wording on the blurb by Phil Gons is most likely intended to suppress websites that offer COMPETING products at a better price.. Logos does not offer these products so Michael did not post a link for competing products. Violation in fact but not in spirit. Thank you Michael for posting

  • Where's the appendix?

I have the print AND the "old" Zondervan software as well as the recent Logos resource, " New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology by Colin Brown " In the Logos version the very important " Appendix: Prepositions and Theology in the Greek New Testament" by Murray Harris is missing while the other two have this resource. How come? Surely

As you can tell by the attached pic I don't have it! I'm using L3 still maybe that's it but why would that be or is that the reason? sDg Terry 2337.Dictionary.docx

  • downloading new resources

For the last number of years Logos would send an email indicating a pre-pub was now ready for download. I'd click the "unlock" at the top of the page and a box would pop up with licences AND resources. Click update or dowload and life was good. Now, not so good. I can't find a way to download into L#... EVEN following the directions: "To unlock the

OK. your argument isn't with diagramming then its with MJ's musings... I think. One cannot build a diagram or study the bible.... in isolation from it's setting. You points aren't making any sense otherwise.

All my diagrams are available here, so if you posted yours (assuming their in Logos format) someone can make them available to the community. Even if they're not in Logos format I'd still love to see them. I'm working on 2Peter right now...... tough sledding, but Hebrews is
