And I am fine with that Mark. Bill needs to respect we all have different viewpoints and things will not need to be the way they have the last few days if he does. As you suggest I will give that moderator the benefit of the doubt they were not aware of the reference to ‘Bill’.
I suspect that a moderator didn't

  • Don’t be like Bill...

Bill locks a forum post that is calling for everyone to respect one another’s different viewpoints on what is important to them.

  • Don’t be like Bill..,

Bill thinks because an issue is not important to him that it should not be important to anyone else and feels it’s his duty to act like the thought police. Bill’s action don’t help fix the situation.

  • Re: Logos Library is Amazing, Mobile use is not.

I agree FL lags behind other bible software companies in its mobile app’s offline capabilities, it they just don’t seem to be interested in doing anything about it, this issue has been raised so many times. I think that is a shame.

What do you mean by Kebab menu James? Is this new Logos 8 terminology? Is there a glossary somewhere I can access?
Tap on the verse you want (anywhere in the verse) then click on the kebab menu in the top right and add a note from there.
Cynthia just to add in case I gave you or anyone else the impression I was against the workflows, the concept is actually not anything new to Logos. I beta tested the same sort of thing in Libronix and advocated for them but Logos walked away from them until now.

Well you have given the impression with things you have said that you were one of the beta testers. MJ I know at times it might not seem like it because we do sometimes have very different views on some things but I do respect your experience and commitment to teaching and equipping others. And FWIW I think more often than not FL should take on board and action your feedback more than they do. Thanks for fuether explaining your thoughts. [quote user

Hi Cynthia, I love your passion for studying the Word and for teaching others how to do so also. And I totally get what you are saying and don’t disagree with you and am not against the workflows. All I am saying is the workflows give no direction as to how they can take their study to the next level.

  • Re: Workflow: what use beyond the basics?

I understand what you are saying Mike but there is nothing to lead a user from relying on the workflow to stepping away from it and using the passage guide, word study guide. There is nothing that even tells them they can find this information on their own using the guides. There is a missing link.
Hi Doc [quote user="doc"

Your reading something into my comments I have never said - the software should not have been shipped at all. The features that are clearly broken and were never going to be ready should not have been shipped in a production version. No notice was given to customers by FL before purchasing that they were shipping broken software and expected people
