• Re: Christ-Centered Exposition (e.g., Author Daniel L. Akin - Mark)
I do not understand why Logos is not able to command the same kind of pricing and discounts.
FL has bitten off more than they can chew. The higher level of tagging they promise is not always delivered and they sacked a whole lot of staff so I do too these days question their higher prices. Instead of offering consistent

  • Re: Is there an index available for the David Cook -Standard Lesson Commentary?

The particular resource I looked at does have an index of texts covered. I haven't checked all of the ones I own. The way publishers presents resources does change over time and if an index like this does not exist in all of them that would not be an issue that lies with FL but with the publisher. But given you are using these within Logos provided

I normally don't participate in Men's only bible studies and when i do participate in bible studies nobody use bible software. Getting pronunciation right is not a big issue to any of us because we all recognise none of us are Ancient Hebrews and some Old Testament names I have never heard pronounced consistently the same over the years. I'm probably

  • Re: Thank You Faithlife for the extra Pastor's Appreciation Gift

I don't believe anyone is upset with FL's generosity. People were just confused as to why some were have's and other have not's and what it was all about. The only thing FL could have done better was open communication about what they were doing so everyone eligible for the gift could make sure they receive it.
Thanks for stepping

Well your one up on me Sean. I didn't get the email you refer to receiving. Last email I got was about a hot price on starter base package I am not eligible for since I already own a base package.
Did this arrive in your email? I didn't seem to get one yet.
Have no idea what Mark is referring to Abondservant. My guess would be that since I'm not a Pastor I won't be appreciated as a customer with whatever this gift might be he is talking about. Are you a Pastor Abondservant? If not might explain why you haven
I am disappointed that this being the 500th anniversary of Luther's 95 theses, that there are not any Reformational resources on sale this month. We will all be dead and gone when the next anniversary comes around. This was a BIG event in church history- no matter where you stand on the issues that were debated.
Has

This would be expected behaviour since it is one sign in for access to all FL sites and a cookie is simply being read to see what account you were most recently logged into when you move from forum to Verbum store and vice versa. I'd suggest using one browser for acessing the forums and a totally different browser for accessing the Verbun store and

Well said Everet, to lie to FL about our satisfacton with what they have done with journals is not love. If we lie like some would like so they can feel comfortable we will only get more of the same from them. It is only by honest direct communication about how they have let us down will they get the message.
[quote user
