Can you?
MJ i could not get it to work with Migne

  • Re: Poor formatting in FL ebooks

Sadly FL don’t care about these sort of errors. When it comes to eBooks FL the model is to take no interest in the accuracy of the links of Bible verses they output - its all the publishers fault. It has nothing to do with the business model they choose to adopt. It’s all on the publishers. It has nothing to do with the fact they have decided

Curiousness is dangerous. Most average Christians these days are adept at installing the perfect SSD, re-working system settings, and using high-end software with limited guidance. Indeed, having a 'hard-drive' is almost embarrassing to admit, in Bible class. (I'm joking.)
ROFLOL, Denise! Having installed

  • Re: Poor formatting in FL ebooks

All the time I see these problems when I use these eBooks. It’s a lucky dip as to what you get when you purchase one. FL simply take the file from publisher and convert it. Links to bible verses are not checked and often point to the wrong bible verse because the file does not have the bible reference in full. The automatic converter lacks intelligence

Ok that makes sense. Thank you for further explaining, I can identify with that. Bradley’s solution I think helps with the immediate issue but will leave that to you to see if it works for you. George was right after all never rely upon an interlinear. Good to know someone at FL determined ease of providing this data was the most important thing. Hopefully they told the marketing department and this is clearly spelled out on all product pages and blog posts, help files, and instructional videos that tell us all how great RI’s are and

I‘m sitting it out to, nice to have but for my needs not essential to have another translation at this point in time at this price.
Thank you Kevin Clemens, all your input has been very helpful. I have most of Augustine's works already, so I'll just sit this one out and perhaps pick up Psalms when it's available and on sale

Not sure if you are saying you don’t want the Syriac but instead want the English Text. If that is so could you not add a constraint to the search to return only English language resources? If I’ve misunderstood what you are trying to illustrate apologies. Either way i think the bigger picture of multi-part resources could have better ways

Assuming they have all been labelled. This is a great starting point. I’d probably compare the resources that come up with hits against the resources in my library that are focussed on Spurgeon to see if any look like they have not been tagged and are worth running a basic search upon them,
I'm not sure who the sloppy OP was, but a 'literal reading' of the title would be a parallel to Daniel's Ancient of Days ... 'Ancient of Greek'. Greek shipping would have been definitely good. Especially tossing 'mystics' overboard during storms. I'd think that'd be a professional hazaard.
At least the OP wasn’t

Thanks David the term ”corresponding words“ slipped my mind so and as I was not at computer did not try to make a feeble attempt at explaining that feature. Having seen what George was asking for though as powerful as corresponding words is, I think FL is missing the vision by not offering this option and is users are missing out by not

The link is probably outdated, internal resource name has changed slightly. Note how in earlier screen shots the internal resource name ends with US whereas in this case it does not have the US on the end of it. At some point FL though it functional to change the namen but failed to consider or chose to ignore the fact this would break all previously

Thanks MJ for the context, explains why I have missed it. I only use custom guides and have no use for proclaim so which is why I am not familiar with it. Must have been called something else when I set-up my custom guides. I do remember an optional section in passage guide about hymns related to the passage being studied.
Are you able to use the resource at the moment or is it locked?
