And on big issues like contacting FL gets you nowhere, they put it in the too hard basket, that’s not my area of influence basket, we don‘t know, ask on the forums basket etc. This topic goes much deeper than the one resource and so creating a post that generates discussion is the only option left to draw attention to ones concerns . i have put up with years of aggressive responses from untouchable forum MVP’s who think they are the voice of reason, the final word of authority on these forums. This has condition me to respond in the way I do otherwise these voices of reason they have the right to control and manipulate the dislog into the direction they want it to go. As for

Bury your head in the sand all you like MJ this is how FL operates these days. Nit quite there is good enough for them these days because they are taking in too much, trying to be too much to too many sectors of church life. You are not FL the comments are not levelled at you or at any one individual persons efforts they are about how the company operates

I was not asking for feedback on what other people thought. I was asking for action from FL. I have experienced too much traffic f other people on these forums telling me what feedback I can and cannot offer. And once again it came across to me this way once again. I simply ask for FL to deliver resources that are up to the standard required for them

This sadly is the way FL works today. Tell users their being given something great. Dump it on them and let them find out for themselves it actually doesn’t live up to the marketing hype and then after that say it’s a work in progress we will finish one day. And now they have seen off two competitors- Bibleworks and Wordsearch there is even

Thank you Bradley fior your response. I don’t like having to make posts like this but when I see stuff that is not up to the standard I have come to expect from FL i will call it out regardless of what other people think. The approach taken by FL with this project is the wrong one when you end up filling peoples libraries with junk like this,

This is not even 80% success and 80% success is not good enough. If they ask us to pay $100 for a product they wouldn‘t accept 80% payment from us. They would expect 100% delivery of paymemy. Why should we accept less than 100% quality? Pandemic is not a reason for making poor business decisions about th quality of product they deliver when they

Mark you have not read what I said and are simply responding with the party line. This and other WS books should not be released as E-books. I have not asked for the e-book to be made to look pretty. I have said a resource like this should have been done properly in the first place. I have said FL should have never released a resource like this as an

I know it’s not done yet I stated that I’m my post, that does not make what has been dished up acceptable. If I was Bob Pritchett I would be absolutely ashamed my company had served up something like this. it is not an acceptable as it stands as an interim resource. Full stop. it should never have been put in eBook format It this is the

This is the wrost resource I have seen put out by FL, it looks as though nobody checked it or if they did they couldn't care less how poor a conversion job has been done on it. And if someone did check it and sign of on it then Bob you should take the advice of your book title and "Fire someone today!" because this is not how you make your business

It has been around since Libby days and looking at the resource id as far back as when Libby was just a spark in Bob Pritchett’s eye. Hence New Bible Atlas despite the tithe may have been overlooked simply because it’s an older member of the community.

I wonder why that is not type Atlas

Which is why I said till I get familiar with the new resources I would not change my approach. All Atlases are not built the same as you have pointed out which is why I disagree with your blanket statement about them. We need to talk about how a resource is indexed rather than type of resource when it comes to prioritisation decisions. [quote user=

  • Re: Triggering Fact Book from right mouse click

The right click menu tends to work from the underlying tagging within the resource. I am not where I can try it out at the moment but I agree if it’s not possible that it would be useful if from the right click menu a search of factbook could be run for the selected surface text and return possible matching factbook entries if an exact match is

So what your saying Adam I’d users have to know about and have read another post to be clear about this post. C’mon that is ridiculous. Why are you not wanting to be transparent on this post ? Show a bit more respect to all Logos users than what you are showing right now with this display of attitude on a simple request to ensure official
Personally I'd love to be able to do dark mode with gray text. The white text is too bright.
I find gray text too hard to read.. it blurry. Black text is easiest for me which is why my Logos install will never enter dark mode.

Dates would be a nice touch but I very much like the forant on this approach and not concerned about it being focused. If I want to see passage before or after I can quickly access that with two clicks - I think FL habe got this close to right. I don’t get caught up in being concerned with things others are finding as an issue because I can easily
Atlases don't need to be Prioritized; whereas dictionaries/encyclopedias should. Just put your favorite atlases into a Collection for use in Media Search.
I respectfully disagree with this statement. Techincally we do not need to prioritize any resource. The software will function fine without doing so but we do prioritize

I never was looking for a dark mode. But if I was I would have to agree with you Greg, this is not black. Screen shots others have posted have done nothing to change my mind about even giving Dark Mode a try, it looks awfully difficult to read, much more difficult that light mode so my installatin will be remaining in Light Mode. Hopefully though Dark
