I guess Faithlife came close to Mark's idea last year with their Best Commentaries sale where they offered 50% off the top 5 rated commentaries for each book of the Bible as rated on www.bestcommentaries.com
Yes, I remember that. It was great idea for a sale. Of course, it wasn't March Madness and so the discounts
I appreciate that Logos tried something new, but the prices are too high.
I agree. I don't think any of the bundles I've looked at so far would be worth the cost to me. My cheapest bundle so far is just over $110 and the most expensive is north of $300. I am sure they are much more for those who are not blessed with as

Glad to hear this. Sadly it is already out of date. When can we expect to be able to order the most recent updates?
Could you tell me what has changed or point me to somewhere that documents the new syntax?
It is here . Bradley discusses it here . The wiki has it in the Library page. (Look for the Search Fields You Can Use.. section.) The new syntax is very specific. Curly brackets and double quotes, and the quotes must be straight
And then there's Andrew Baguley's spreadsheet categorizing authors by denomination
Just a warning. Andrew's collections (which can be downloaded here ) are in the older Logos collection syntax (except perhaps for a recent few which I haven't checked) and therefore will load much more slowly than if they were updated

The one on the left is the latest version of the BHS produced by Faithlife and has the associated textual apparatus (which is a separate resource (look for BHSCAPP.logos4)). Some time back FL staff recommended hiding BHSSESB2.lbxlls as it had been superseded by a file called BHSSESB.lbxlls. I believe that file was replaced by BHSSESB.logos4 which you

Raffaele, I have most of the contents of both packages so I'll give you my opinion. To me, Logos Standard Silver is worth more than Reformed Silver. I think the commentary offerings alone set Standard Silver apart. Unless you really need Calvin's commentaries and the incomplete Mentor and New Covenant commentaries, Standard Silver would be my recommendation
