After many, many years of using DOS and Windows, I switched to Mac in November 08 and have never regretted the decision. After an awful experience with Vista, my wife who usually cares little about these sorts of things, switched as well. She's never looked back either. I can count over 15 friends who were long term windows users who have done the same

The little dot is finally sitting on the 60% line. This is the biggest movement that I have seen in Barnes since I started watching it a very, very long time ago. If it goes for $30 (or less), this is incredible value for 10,000 pages. I would sure like to see this one get on the blog as well to see if it can be put into production.

This is indeed a happy day. Many congrats to all the team that have laboured inspite of the thefts and other challenges. The Mac world is well served to have another excellent Bible programme on the market. Kudos everyone!

It's been a while since I deleted Logos 1.2.2. If I recall, I just deleted the application from the applications folder. I think I used AppZapper to delete it, but I don't think it was necessary. Then I went and found the directory with all of the resources and deleted it as well. That was it.

You can buy the disk here: http://www.logos.com/products/details/5579 and import the contents using the 'scan' command as detailed in the wiki. There are two problems with the disk though. 1) I have been told only 'base products' such that those which are included in Portolio or below are included. 2) Any updates to resources are not included. So the

Hi John, I copy the resource folder from L4 Win running under Fusion and put a temporary copy of it on my desktop. (through the shared folder capability of Fusion) Then I use the scan command on L4 Mac: scan /Users/dpalmer/desktop/Resources Then close Logos 4 Mac and restart it. When L4 restarts, it scans this temporary folder on my desktop and installs

  • [Bug] Beta 11 - panel text still does not update properly

I reported this with Beta 10, the problem still exists with Beta 11. After running a Bible word study on logos in John 1:1, when I click on a resource in the report, the panel appears with the text from the previous panel. In this case, EDNT has the text from the ESV panel. Please see screen shot.

I am interested in the answer to this as well. Generally, I have been buying the upgrades to commentaries like NAC, but it would be a bummer if I continue to do this and then just realise later I could have upgraded everything in one go or it was included as part of my base package.
