I am in it now and it looks like it is intermittent. I copied something from Calvin's commentary that wasn't long and I got the footnote. Then I copied something much long from MacArthur's commentary and no footnote. I am beginning to think this is an anti-dispensational conspiracy ;-)

I think I just worked this out. It seems as if there is some minimum amount of text that needs to be copied from the resource and pasted in the note for the citation to show up. Earlier I copied just a few lines and no citation. This time I copied a paragraph and the citation appeared.

I am running Logos 9.2 on a Mac. When I copy from a resource to a note the citation is not showing up. In my preferences I have "Copy Citations" set to YES. Is there some other setting I need to change? Thanks! Dan

Thanks so much! I have it in my library now. What a wonderful resource. Thanks for your work on making this available in such a usable format. In His Grace, Dan

I guess I am a little lost here. I downloaded the .zip file. Expanded it and now have a file with lots of sermon texts. What do I do with them now? Is there an index I am supposed to turn into a PB? Thanks! Dan

What a great question P A. I also take a more heuristic approach. I am looking for repeated words or phrases, repeated lemmas. I also look closely at the verbs. They are usually carrying the weight of he narrative or argument the writer is making. I don't necessary do a full on word-study of each verb. But Logos makes it pretty easy to go through the

thanks, This looks useful. At first glance it seems as if it is returning some things beyond what I am after (e.g. Mt. 7:23) but I think it will give me a nice list that will contain what I am looking for. Dan

Thanks for the help. Maybe an example will help clarify what I am doing. In Mt. 3:3 Matthew quotes Isa. 40:3. to say that John was the one referred to by Isaiah as the person crying to "prepare the way for the Lord". The "Lord" is Jesus and in Isaiah 40:3 "Lord" translates Yahweh. So Matthew is using an OT reference to Yahweh and applying it to Jesus

How could I form a search that finds all the Verses in the NT where an OT text containing the term Yahweh is applied to Jesus? Thanks for the Help! Dan

I am running Logos 8.6 and am looking for a query that will find all the instances where God is the creator. Does anyone have a query they use and think it finds all the verses they might like to share? Thanks! Dan

I have found this in a .pdf file here https://ea5ba462b1ba8fd22293-8d6c62c6bebfb37ae3b39009b6c25946.ssl.cf2.rackcdn.com/uploaded/c/0e4935177_1457110820_clarks-scripture-promises.pdf Has anyone turned this into a Personal Book? Possibly also using a modern translation? I am thinking about taking this on as a personal project but don't want to reinvent

Let's look at the definition of plagiarism Based on this, I would say yes this is plagiarism

I am finding this happening too. Has a fix been identified?

I just tried to grab AR271 using my second free course code. However at checkout I was told the code was not valid. Is this course not available via FLC? I am also taking the course on Romans using my first free course code. Do I have to finish that one before I can start another? Thanks! Dan

learnlearn.com is also a great resource, not a subscription service, and very affordable. It has the same format, generally, in that it is a series of short, to the point videos showing what is new in Logos 8. He is doing a pretty good job of updating what has already been released when Logos releases an update.
