In addition to having women authors, I would like to suggest a format that would allow authors from different traditions to get further into the tournament. Have authors from the same traditions go head to head in different brackets. That would mean that there would be at least some from each tradition that would receive the

My votes just pushed it to page 1 of the top voted items. :)
If 1 million wanted the NJBC, it might not matter the disappearance of the JBC was because Prentice Hall did not want an electronic edition out there. One would hope they might be more sensible in an age where electronic books are as important as print but seeing as there is no Kindle edition I am guessing they may still be

Is Louis no longer at Faithlife? His avatar is gone and clicking on his name just takes me to the main Faithlife page.

Good idea.

Just a heads up, I received a promotional email from Logos with the subject "We've got an exclusive offer for you . . . it's kind of a big deal" inviting me to upgrade to Logos 7 because "we noticed you’re still working on an older version of Logos." However, I have upgraded to Verbum 7 already. It doesn't bother me to have received it. I take

Here's a dumb question. How do I find this "About" screen in the first place? The red x doesn't bother me. It's a fairly conventional symbol to denote an absence. I don't internalize it as being a commentary about me as a person.

I also got an email with the same link.
very good point. No reformed or baptist bundle?
It doesn't look like there are any denomination-focused expansion packs.

It was in pre-pub as an 8 volume set, which included the Latin texts. Of all the pre-pubs that were cancelled, I think that is the one I miss the most.

$80/month. All you need is 10 people to commit to donating as much as many spend on Netflix every month. :)

I think that's a good change. I know I was using Verbum for a while before I realized that the "Catholic Lectionary" resource wasn't the actual Lectionary text. With both resources now available, I can see how it would be even more confusing.

I've been getting the same emails that have been posted. The whole thing is kind of bizarre. Of course, I don't even remember bidding on these two products in the first place. I'm assuming I must have at some point in time.... I went through a phase of bidding on a lot of products, so I know there are some I've forgotten about.
Why are so many pessimistic replies here. 80,000 articles for $100 only. I am super excited. I can wait 5 days, 30 days, or whatever. It will be still worth getting it one day. I dont care about local library in my town. Tomorrow I can move out, but with Logos it can sit on my pocket. well tagged. Thank you Faithlife for this

I just got notified that this Community Pricing title is closing this Friday (9/16): https://www.logos.com/product/38770/a-new-commentary-on-holy-scripture-including-the-apocrypha It's a 1600 page commentary for $8, and it includes the apocrycpha/deuterocanonicals. Not a bad price and it could go even lower.

Odd. It seems to me, though, that the errors only apply to the previews in the search results. On the actual product pages themselves, everything looks as it should. Further, the same errors appear when you search the Logos site, too. It doesn't appear exclusive to the Verbum site.

There is the same issue for me with regards to the Catechism as well (and perhaps for other resources, but that one jumped out because I definitely know I own that one). Since the Verbum page isn't even up yet, I imagine it will get worked out in due time.
I've purchased the upgrade, and
If any of you have both or have seen both, I'm just curious about the differences between the two. It looks to me like the one volume version is more recent and perhaps more abridged. Is that an accurate assessment? The one volume commentary is included in some Verbum 7 base packages. For the multi-volume, either you purchase

That sounds right to me. I think much of it depends on what type of customer you are. With Logos seeming to be on a 2 year cycle with regards to new releases, if you are the type to want the new features of every iteration of the software, you're probably going to save money by using the Now membership. Not only that, but you'll get the features as
