- To make the Home Page go away and go back to your study windows, click the Home Page button again (both the Home Page button and the Library button are toggle buttons -- it wasn't obvious to me at first). Peter
Alt+H will also toggle the homepage.
Awoke this am, windows updated last night and the indexing is starting over. Apparently there is not way it can start where it left off. This is the third time the indexing has restarted when it was almost complete. Come on, don't you think there can be an interruption and be able to start where it left off for something that

They've been working overtime tagging images and these are easily searchable in your library with the operator #image: As you can see - over 2000 hits in but 3 seconds.... Click on the first one and it opens in place. Right click on the image and I can copy it, save it, print it, or send it straight to Powerpoint:
I did not realize there was an option to restore licenses from a backup or a file provided by Logos. That's good to hear if it's true.
Bryan, This is a question which was posed again and again in Beta testing. We will definitely have access, upon request, to a license key for a re-install. All that will be required
Thanks - the feature does make it very easy to build the reading list
And you have Philip to thank for that little gem.
Just to add to the crowd...also nothing when I use the HELP . Win 7 32 Bit..Same as described by many here. Appears that all has been downloaded
The issue is not downloading but indexing. Until, the program has finished indexing, you will not have access to help.
They are working day and night to convert and make it happen...
Robert, Apparently they are allowed to sleep for two hours in shifts. So while the company is operating 24 hours a day, the individual employees are only required to work 22 hours a day.

  • Re: L4 & Opening up commentary

Paul, There is no indication that it is running. It may or may not find anything. It takes quite a while - as it compares date stamps and sizes of every file with the list of your resources. BTW. It didn't find anything for me.
I just ran another update and new resources were found and indexed however I still have 9 Opening up Commentaries. I'll try again later...
Paul, Just FYI, "Update Now" checks incremental upgrades - what has changed on the Logos Server since the last update. It's for this reason that I suggested "Update Resources
I've been thruogh the download and indexing process on my machine, however when I search my library for the newly released Opening up commentary I can only see 9 volumes! Looking at the comparison available here it seems that there should be 30 volumes. Logos appears to have donwloaded everything but I'm still down 21 volumes

  • Re: Help files?

As a very last resort you can try the command "Update Resources" This will scan your entire resource folder and may take a while, but it will ensure that you have every resource which your license allows.

You could try looking in your resource folder to see that they are there... one is called LCV and the other BiblicalThings (funny that)

  • Re: Missing Resources

Jason, Glad to here it's starting to work. "Indexing" involves more than just indexing. The start of the process also involves transferring the files from their download location to the resources folder. I have found that this can take quite a while and then magically they all appear (after a restart of the program). Whatever you do, do not interrupt
Because I have invested a significant amount of money in Logos, my only concern with Logos 4 is if something happens in the future (hopefully it never will) that would result in the company going out of business or being unreachable (which means we would not be able to install or use the software locally). Jason, 1. Type Update Now into the command bar 2. Wait til it has found the command (just to be sure) and then either, click on the command, hit enter, or hit the blue arrow. 3. When activated, the command will change to the capitalised "Update now" 4. Wait. 5. If you have program settings set to automatically download resources, then if there is an

Set up a guide called "My Passage Guide" or "My Exegetical Guide" or "My Bible Word Study" and these will be used instead of the predefined templates when run from places like the Go Bar on the home page. They will also always appear in the right-click context menu.
