Doug, You might look at these messages as it sounds familiar: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/17395/132783.aspx#132783 Try deleting the folders Tom mentions and see if it works. Tom said: Try this, delete your /Users/msale/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/0qg65fd8.zel/LocalUserPreferences folder and your /Users/msale/Library/Application

  • Re: continual hanging: A-19.1

Tommy, I opened the program last evening and simply allowed it to run and do the updates and then an index. I am not sure if I changed pages on the homepage or not, but that would have been the most I did. When I came in this morning, the program had crashed. Here is the link to the logs (on Google Docs again). (I left the older archive up and gave

Tommy, If I changed anything on the windows side, it would have only been a change in 1 of the Layouts but nothing else. I have noticed as I looked at the logs, that every time I open the program it syncs a ton of material and if I leave it running, it seems to continue to go back over and re-sync them multiple times.

  • Notes caused crash

I had been doing some highlighting in a book and went to add material to a note. It would not allow me to start a new line by hitting the return key (which has happened regularly) so I went to the previous line and tried to type a word (I was going to go back and it normally allows me to start the new line after typing something on the previous line

  • crash on search

I was running a rather large search (probably not doing it correctly in the first place, at least not to get what I wanted), l left the computer for it to complete the search. I came back and it had finished, I clicked on the arrow to display the results and the program crashed. Here are the logs and hope they help. 4807.LogosLogs Michael Hatcher 20110109

Agreed. The font rendering is much clearer. Thanks for your continued hard work on this wonderful program.

Hi Melissa. I had forgotten that report, or I would not have resubmitted. Thanks for all your help.

  • Re: Update Crash

You can add another one that is having the same problem. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. However, I can cancel the update and quit the installer and the program will load for me. It remains the stable version: Logos Bible Software 4.2a SR-2 (4.21.5.0906) (Update Channel: beta).

I had just switched to a Greek text of the NT and did a right click on a word to bring up the lemma to copy it to a note file. The program crashed on me. Here is the log file. 7343.Archive.zip

  • Re: Download Mac?

Marcus: You are purchasing the books. You can download either Mac or Windows engine or both (many have run the Windows version under parallels or fusion while also running the Mac version). The engine is free and the updates are also. When you purchase Scholars (or any other group) you are simply purchasing the books which will work with either engine

  • Re: 4.0b Beta 2 Loses most links in Notes

Jack, I have also had trouble with losing the links and with the font changes. Additionally I was wanting to use Adobe Garamond Pro for my notes. It will change the English to that font but will not allow me to change the Greek to that font (even though I highlight it and change it, it simply will not change to that font).

Tom, As I noted elsewhere, the find command (CMD F) does work. (Start typing after clicking CMD F and it will work just as if you were seeing the dialogue box.) It simply is not showing up for us to see.

Melissa, I am having the same difficulty with notes: The program does not crash, so I did not save the logs (if you wish me to, I can). I did do a screen shot of one of my note files. Hope this helps.
