Just as a followup, I went to my laptop and hid the NKJV. Came back and started Logos and made sure it was hidden here. I then tried a layout that had crashed previously and it worked fine (even though there was a tab for NKJV but it was blank so deleted the tab).

I have been adding a lot of notes, but if one got into community notes it was a mistake. After deleting NKJV from my layouts, everything seems to be working fine. Thus, it appears to me that the problem is with that file.

Just tried to load NKJV offline and it crashed again. Seems that the NKJV is what is causing my problems. Will get to my laptop and delete the NKJV from my layouts and see if it works that way.

Alabama, that is why the logging was not enabled. Sorry I missed that. Here is another log and will try to load NKJV while in offline mode in a few minutes. (I wish I knew how to read them, but just looks like jumbled up letters to me ). 6607.Logging.zip

I am not sure why it would show that it was not enabled as I followed the instructions from the wiki as when I started the program each time I would hit the command key and bring up the initial log-in screen. Having said that, I used the script to enable logging so here are the logs from that one. 0412.Logging.zip

Might look like it is the NKJV. I was able to open all the other Bibles, but when I went to open the NKJV it immediately crashed (tried it 2 different times). I am not sure how you delete a book and reinstall it, so if someone could help along that line, I would appreciate it.

Jack, I am not sure how many are but would say only some Bibles might be: KJV, NKJV, ASV, and possibly ESV. There would not be any other books common to all. I was able to load the KJV (apart from a layout) but have not tried the others (yet).

Jack, I have tried 5 different layouts (some old and some new). Crashed immediately after loading each one.

Opened it to a blank layout and it did not crash. Tried to load a previous layout and it crashed. Here are those logs. 2022.Logging.zip

  • Crash after start

I opened Logos (4.5c Beta 1) and right after opening, it will crash. Here are the logs. Any help would be appreciated. I have not tried to start to a blank page yet, but that will be next. If it works, I will update. 6507.Logging.zip

  • Re: Default Note Font

I have the same problem. Additionally, with some notes they will simply change fonts or font size.

  • ISBE 1915 edition

I just noticed the ISBE 1915 edition edited by James Orr has just gone on community pricing. I already have this in my library from Ages Software. Will this one be any different from the one by Ages?

  • Re: Will not start

KS, Thank you for your help. I installed the new Beta 3 and everything seems to be working normal now. I think what might have caused the problem was that I upgraded the operating system and was at the same time updating Logos to the Beta. I am thinking that doing them at the same time was a big mistake . Thanks Mike for your help also, and hopefully

KS, thanks for the link, made finding it much easier. I installed the beta and tried again (also Mike, I think I fixed the 1Password file as it was not connecting to their server from Chrome after the upgrade for some reason, but after opening the program it did). Same problem happened. Started, saw the sign-in, then went blank. Tried again this time

  • Will not start

Last night I updated the operating system of my Macbook pro to the latest edition (10.7.3). This morning I went to start my Logos and will give me the signing in screen and then stops. I tried the start program then press command to get to the log-in page and tried to open to a blank layout and would give me a couple of seconds on the sign-in screen

  • Re: Are Highlights being syncrhonized?

Patrick, If you change both computers to the beta, they should sync just fine. I had the same problem and when I changed to the beta on all computers, everything synced.

Kevin, Sorry to be such a pain, but I will be anyway. If I upgraded to the Beta with all of my copies of Logos (Mac and Windows running parallels) would the notes I have created become intact across everything at that time? Thank you for your help.
