FYI, you can include any collection such as commentary collections to see if there is an article with the topic in the heading... or monograph collections for background, handbooks... just some thoughts.
-
Try this: Create a collection of Journals: Open tools From tools open collections Enter Name In the "start with matching resources box enter: type:jounal Close collections Now open your topic guide Enter a topic Click the add button on the right Select collections and it will be added to the bottom of the guide Hove over that section click on settings
I am using the topic guide, but I know I have a journal that deals with that topic. I do not have time to tag every topic I want to see in the search. Is there a way I can tag a specific journal for topic guide to pull from and display each time I search?
I create a collection of Journals and then add that collection

n addition to Graham's suggestion you can open a Bible Word Study Guide and link it to your bible text. Once click on a word will populate the BWS guide and offer you a speaker icon to pronounce the lemma. Below is my word study layout and you can see the pronunciation icon in both the info pane and the BWS guide:

I am not on IOS 14, so it could be a software issue that Logos, according Bradley needs to address.

Cecil, I just opened the mobile version of WS on my iPad without issue. BTW, this continues as well as WS desktop program by WordSearch/Lifeway, NOT Logos. If or when it quits working, it is WS not maintaining the program, not Logos. I suggest you try and contact them with you issues. While I understand your frustrations, please review the matter more

Good topic. Most guides allow you to collapse all sections with a right mouse click except factbook that requires you to use the panel menu.

Glad to help.
John, I like your layout and would like to try it. I can't figure out the 2nd tab on the far left panel. Would appreciate help figuring that out.
Here is a screen shot. It is a customized Passage Guide:
-
Far left: Bible Word Study linked to main bible, Passage Guide linked to main bible, cited by tool linked to main bible, search pane with "send searches here". Middle: main bible linked, second bible with send hyperlinks here so I do not lose focus in the main bible. Right: lexicon and commentary... this is where all lexicons and commentaries should

One more option is to open the Explorer under tools. It has a commentary section and takes up the same space as a power lookup pane.

Hi Joe and welcome. Here is a screen shot of what attributes are available when you right mouse click on the interlinear box. You can select which attributes are shown.

Factbook likes to link back to itself with related articles, which is great except the Web version does not have a back button. Please consider adding it.

I can confirm Greg's finding regarding "All the Miracles". It does show in the dropdown list in Factbook as "miracle", just not linking the key article.

I think they are topical concordances which Logos types as Bible Concordance similar to Nave's. I do not think commentary or monograph are appropriate. The TOC is topical, not Biblically laid out. Just a thought.
-
Since they are topical it seems Bible concordance may be a better type than commentary or monograph. Or maybe a new type for factbook. i will just wait and see when you are finished to decide on tagging. Thanks.

In the features section there are a number of "All the......" resources that are in development. A few have recently been added to my library. The start as a monograph and then change to a commentary, but not one that, at least yet, will populate in the Passage guide. Can someone explain how these are best to be utilized in L9? I am trying to figure

Hi James and welcome, The way I do it is to open a second bible tab and then select "send hyperlinks here" as shown below. The tab will have a target on in and all the references you click on will open in the second tab with the first tab (your preferred bible) remaining where you are studying.
Just to explain my reaction...I've already experienced changes to the Logos software implemented by FL that have either wiped out my entire method of operation or put it on extinction watch. Anytime I see something like this, it is very much like an existential crisis. I'm glad this had a simple solution, but in the past (and

You should click on the visual filter icon and clear checks on the following: If you right mouse hover on those items in the drop down you will see another drop down on the right that allows you to clear this for all resources, which I did and then only selected them for the Bibles I want them to show up on. Hope this helps.
