Thanks for the help. This works with Word 2010 just find, it launches first loading the default layout and then relaunches it and changes it to the desired layout. However in PowerPoint it launches Logos 5, but does not change to the proper layout, but gives an error. The following is how I used your script (things within [] are my notes; Romans is

Hi Doug, Your tip, for running a script to open a particular layout in Logos 5, is great. Do you know of a way to run a powershell script from a macro in Word 2010 & Powerpoint 2010? When I am using Powerpoint I use one particular layout and in Word a couple of different one, depends wither a sermon or training notes, etc. It would be great if I could

  • Crash

Still as Crashy as ever. I get one update after the other, but none correct Logos 6's freezes and crashes. I thought before maybe it was my sleep mode on Windows 8.1, which some programs have a problem with, so I set it to never sleep, etc. However, it still crashes, no I did not have this much of a problem with Logos 5, which did freeze occasionally

If I leave the program to do an errand, eat ,etc., when I come back it is frozen if I can get it to close then I can open it and it will work alright for a time, but usually will crash when I try any of the new features. Occasionally it will require a reboot to stabilize

MY REPLY, UNLESS I MISSED IT, WAS TO HAVE AN INTERNAL WEIGHTS AND MEASURE CALCULATOR IN LOGOS 5, SUCH AS 3 HAD. I end up searching my other Bible Programs, which are mostly like Logos 5 in this area, worthless (especially if I am checking several at the same time) and then the Web, commentaries are hit and miss. Take 2 Sam 14:26 "two hundred shekels
Contact Logos Tech Support about this. Restoring the previous version may not be the answer.
I had to delete Logos 5 and reinstall it, but it cured its crashiness and many other problems. It is slower than on the SSD; but Praise the LORD it is working and is usable. George T.

The last time I reinstalled Logos5 I put it on D drive and had updated it a few times. This update, however, installed it to C:\User\... and took all day and most of the night. At first I did not realize that it was installing it to a new place on my computer. One download was 11.7g the next one 709m and all the indexing in-between. (There were a few

I had a couple of Personal Books that I deleted but did would not delete, they did not show up in the Personal Files but did in the Library. They were active still, I then hide them, but they would from time to time show up in the library. I had not read the earlier post you referenced about the Ibspbb files, but it worked for me. I used Word most often for this and if the puzzle was not as I wanted, after pasting, I could rearranged and format them to fit my needs. I used them in Sunday School, Bible
